"How are you feeling today, Althea?" Zamba asks from behind as she washes my hair

"Better than most days but I still feel sick." I sigh as I sit on my knees in the small lake where the water comes up to my collarbones

"That is some good news, Blue. There is no reason to frown." Zandra tries to lift my mood as she lifts my left hand to clean under my nails without chipping the polish

Zamba and Zandra are twin sisters who are a little older than me and have been helping me with everything I have needed for the past week like dressing in the traditional robes and clothes they made for me, done my hair and were surprised I wasn't in pain like the smaller children but I explained how my mother back home does my hair and they laughed. They have helped me for the week that Bucky and I have been here because for whatever reason when I woke up after that night Natasha and Steve totally got into a screaming match as they boarded the plane, I could not stop puking to save my life. It went on for an hour before nothing would come up and even then I was still outside with my head over my self made hole to catch my gags, coughs, heaves, and tears as I cried at the tensing pain in my stomach.

"She's right there. I don't know what's going on with my doll but I need it fixed now." Bucky was with me the entire time and called for T'Challa who came down immediately after the Dora Milaje sent the message up to the palace for the king to come and check what was wrong

"I will do what I can." T'Challa was very soothing and calm as he knelt down with Okoye, Shuri, and Peter behind him, watching when he felt my forehead and said I must've caught something from the drastic change in temperature from the chilled moonlight to the boiling sun it felt like

He reassured everyone and especially my two worried boys that my fever will break and die down soon so after some orders were given out by the royals which included Bucky since he is treated like royalty here, I was picked up and laid back in the hut with the windows blocked off by sheets and the top of the straw roof covered in thick, tropical leaves that kept out the sun so the small building would cool down and it did. I stayed in bed for two days and only came out to shower when I had the strength to do so and was helped by the twins who took care of that while Bucky goes out and grabs ice for me to eat as well as some fruits I have managed to keep down because this has been the worst week with my recent health. It's been a beautiful week petting goats after my showers and hugging the worried kids while I slept and not ready to go home since T'Challa ordered us to stay here until I am safe for travel.

That made Bucky extremely happy because he knew I was getting the upmost care here.

Probably the best in the world.

"My stomach is just cramping and my head has been hurting is all." I shake my head

"Our king has said that is all normal for a flu like this." Zandra says as she switches hands and uses the small wooden twig to clean under the other set of nails carefully. "And that you should return to your normal activities soon."

"Your head is no longer warm." Zamba adds as she runs her hands through my rinsed hair. "Your hair has gotten thicker, have you noticed this, Althea?" She asks

"I've noticed a lot of things with my body since I woke up in October and now it's almost February." I grumble at myself

"Being stabbed in the stomach, dying, and waking up is a huge change on the body especially when your brain was shut off for a day, literally." Zandra nods with a small smile as she washes everything off and though I return it with a light laugh, her sister finds none of this funny

"It is rude to be insensitive, sister." Zamba scolds. "And punishable when it is towards the royals." She mutters almost fearfully

"I'm not royalty, it's okay." I wave my hand and stand up with their help as I cover my bare chest with one arm
