-CROWNED-
-ACT I-"HIGH QUEEN ADELAIDE.."
chapter ten.—・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚.—
The five had moved into the castle Aslan showed them just a few days ago, and were ready to be crowned kings and queens. They decided on staying in Narnia.Adelaide got dressed in a blue gown (shown at the top of this chapter). And a light blue cape.
-
Adelaide stood in between Susan and Aslan, Peter on the other side of Aslan as they walked.
They stood, looking at their thrones. Adelaide's had a bow carved into hers.
They walked up to their thrones, turning around and standing still, waiting for Aslan. Adelaide smiled brightly, looking at all the Narnians in the crowd. "To the glistening Eastern sea, I give you Queen Lucy, the Valiant."
Lucy smiled as they watched Mr and Mrs. Beaver carry their crowns up the steps, Mr. Tumnus behind them.
Mr. Tumnus placed Lucy's crown on her head as she bent down and then stood up with it, then looking to Edmund.
"To the great Western Wood, King Edmund, the Just." Aslan said as Mr. Tumnus placed his crown on his head, and he smiled at Adelaide.
"To the radiant Southern Sun, Queen Susan, the Gentle." Aslan said as Mr. Tumnus crowned Susan.
"To the clear Northern Sky, I give you King Peter, the Magnificent." Aslan said as Mr. Tumnus crowned Peter, and he stood up proudly.
"And to the bright Stars and the Moon, I give you Queen Adelaide, the Wise." Aslan said, as Adelaide leaned down, Mr. Tumnus placing a silver crown on her head. She stood back up, smiling.
"Once a King or Queen of Narnia, always a King or Queen." Aslan said, as they all sat down simultaneously. "May your wisdom grace us until the stars rain down from the heavens."
"Long live King Peter! Long live Queen Adelaide! Long live King Edmund! Long live Queen Susan! Long live Queen Lucy!"
Everyone cheered as they all smiled and looked at one another with joy.
-
Adelaide adjusted her crown as she walked down the steps for the party, standing next to Edmund. "I haven't thanked you yet for saving my life." She said, and Peter quickly walked away.
Edmund blushed, "I was keeping the promise."
"Still, I owe you a big thanks." She said, "You almost died for me."
"Yeah, well.." He said, looking away.
Adelaide smiled and hugged him, and kissed his cheek.
"And that promise forever lives on?" Adelaide asked, holding her pinky finger up. Edmund smiled and raised his. "Forever."
They linked pinky fingers, sealing their promise forever.
