The girl of my dreams

Distracted

Brrring!! the alarm goes off, as usual. Uhg another boring day of high school, except today i'm gonna show a new kid around. I didn't want to get up but I had to, so I got up, went to the bathroom, brushed my teeth, did my hair, and picked out my outfit for the day. I picked a black beanie with a green and gray flannel, baggy ripped jeans and I wore my black vans. I look in the mirror, I like it, and now it is time to go to school. I dread the next 8 hours.

When I arrived, There were barely any parking spots, I finally found one and parked my car. I got out, grabbed my books, and walked to my locker. *Buzz* my phone went off. I look to see who it's from, I slow down but keep walking. 'I'm not gonna be home today, you're in charge, love mom' "Ok, love you too' I replied. I put my phone in my pocket, and looked up. BOOM. I crashed into someone. "I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going" I looked up to see who I crashed into. My heart stopped, she looked at me. I froze, she's the prettiest girl I've ever seen. "It's fine," she said. Her voice is so angelic. I looked down and realized all our books and papers were scattered everywhere. "I'm sorry, I'm very clumsy," she says with a smile. "Same," I said as I bent down to pick it up. I handed her books to her, "thank you" she said. "No problem," I said nervously . I pick up my books to put them in my locker. She opens her locker, hers is right beside mine. I shut my locker. "Nice meeting you," I said with a friendly smile. "New meeting you" she said laughing. Her laugh is so wholesome. "Do you know where the office is?" she asked. "Uh, yea actually I'm going there now, I can show you." "That would be awesome," she responded. As we walk down the hall my heart drops, is this the new girl I'm showing around?
