Dinner Date • Goretober - Day 2/3 •

It had been a week since the incident , it was extremely difficult for redson to sleep at night - the way his parents looked at him. It hurt. Worse than the pain he went through. Fortunately, mei and mk had redson go see someone to help him , and he no longer had the 'metal'.Unfortunately, he still wasn't sure why he felt so.. Different around the two. That wasn't the point though! He had just woken up in the morning, and he remembered something ; dinner. He told Mk and Mei that they could come over for dinner! - oh he had to hurry so he could make lots of food. He didn't know what they liked, so making lots of food is the best solution.. right..??? Oh dear, he'd have to get some fresh meat too - gosh, he'd better get ready. He quickly got off of his bed and checked the time; 10:47am. Okay. He could manage. Hopefully. He went through his drawers and grabbed his signature black sleeveless shirt - he would've grabbed his jacket as well, but.. it needed to be fixed.He grabbed some jeans and put on his shoes, quickly going to his desk and grabbing a brush. He brushed through his hair - which was actually quite long.. He just always had it up.. Maybe mk and mei would like it down.. WHATEVER! that doesn't matter! They're peasants anyways. He left it down, because HE likes it better like that, not because he wants to impress them or anything. He glanced at the time again before rushing out the door.

He quickly arrived at a building - one he recognized easily. He had been there multiple times before with his parents and without, it's where they get their meat and stuff. He took a deep breath and stepped out of the car, quickly walking inside. He was greeted by a demon in the back, a butcher, of course. The demon looked at redson, bowed slightly and spoke
"The usual, right?"
Redson thought about it for a moment - before shaking his head
"Yes.. Just the usual."
He felt like he was forgetting something, but - what could he be forgetting?? He knew the recipe he planned on making, he knew his parents were on a trip, he knew that mei and mk were coming over, he's at the shop right now so he can get meat, why did it seem like he forgot something? What would he forget?.. He did not like feeling as if he forgot something because - usually - the feeling was right. And it bothered him. At this point he was standing there, in the shop, thinking to himself, probably mumbling quietly. Some other demons looked at him in surprise because APPARENTLY it's strange to see a prince somewhere without his parents. His train of thought was interrupted when his name was called;
"Prince Redson! It's ready!"
"Ah.. Okay! Thank you."
He quickly turned to look at the demon butcher again, and walled closer - grabbing the meat. He paid, and quickly left.

He of course had to pick up more groceries before going home, but he eventually had everything. Once he got home he quickly started cooking, oh how he hoped they liked his cooking.. After a few hours he had dinner prepared, thank goodness. He decided to work on tidying his home up then he could get ready - not like he needed to get ready or anything. And it's not like he wanted to get ready to impress them or something. He finished cleaning rather quickly and had about an hour to get ready, he looked at his outfits. What would be suitable for a dinner..? With.. two friends. nothing more. Aha. He got ready and waited at the entrance of his home. He was nervous. Wait. Why was he nervous?! - it's just dinner! With.. friends!! He took a deep breath - they should be here soon. He looked away and thought to himself - and then he heard voices
"Mei, is it normal that we're both nervous?"
"you mean YOU'RE nervous, I'm calm monkey man!"
"Uh huh."
Redson blinked and looked over at the two approaching, he smiled.
"Mei! Mk! Hello! Welcome."
"woahh, you called us by our actual names redboy? You must love us!~"
Mei was of course teasing - but, that made his heart flutter a bit. He laughed awkwardly
"Mhm, sure."
Redson looked at Mk, he looked more nervous than HIM. And redson was sure he looked super nervous. Redson was about to speak but stopped, forgetting what he was gonna say. Thankfully, mk spoke.
"It's nice to see you, red!"
"Yeah.. You too."
It was silent for a few minutes while redson took a deep breath and spoke again
"Well! Follow me! You both can look around while I set the table!"
"Alright redboy!"
"Sounds good!"
Redson turned around and started walking, while speaking to the other two. Once they got closer to the kitchen he allowed them to explore - as long as they were careful. He waved and walked into the kitchen, grabbing plates and such and setting them down on the table. The 'special' meat, of course, was in the middle of the table. The table was set, he still felt as if he had forgotten something though. He shrugged it off and called to the two about dinner being finished - they were talking about something. He wasn't sure what about. though, he swore he heard his name. Once the three sat down he spoke
"Right so.. Kinda weird. But , thank you for helping me the past week.. I appreciate it.. A lot. I hope you like the food!"
"Awe! Redboyyyy! You're so welcome!! It's the least we could do!!"
"What mei said!! That was adorable, though"
"Yeah! Mk is right that was kinda adorable."
Redson felt his cheeks flush, he covered his face and spoke quietly
"Just.. eat."
The two didn't waste any time eating - they've tasted redsons cooking before and just KNEW it was amazing. But holy, this was like godly
"Redboy! This is so good. You HAVE to teach us how you cook so well!!"
"Agreed!"
"In your dreams, peasants.."
Even though he had insulted them - he felt all fuzzy when they complimented his cooking.

Soon the three made plans again and the dragon horse girl and noodle boy left. Redson slept almost perfectly that night - until he woke up at 12am and remembered something - Something important. Mei and mk, were mortals. That wasn't a problem of course, but..

He fed them human meat.
