Orange is Everywhere

I can't look at the color orange
The same way that I used to.

After I found out you loved the color
Just as much as i did
The color started reminding me of you

We would dream about having orange cars

We would always pick the orange option

Our whole relationship was around the color

Maybe I misunderstood
And you didn't care for orange
The same way I did
Since now I'm the only one

Staring at the orange cars

Picking the orange option

Loving orange.

And now,

Something that never failed
To bring a smile to my face
Something that I thought
Would never change

Is full of the only thing
That can suck the life out of me.

It's full of you.

-I just want orange back
