I can't look at the color orange
The same way that I used to.After I found out you loved the color
Just as much as i did
The color started reminding me of youWe would dream about having orange cars
We would always pick the orange option
Our whole relationship was around the color
Maybe I misunderstood
And you didn't care for orange
The same way I did
Since now I'm the only oneStaring at the orange cars
Picking the orange option
Loving orange.
And now,
Something that never failed
To bring a smile to my face
Something that I thought
Would never changeIs full of the only thing
That can suck the life out of me.It's full of you.
-I just want orange back

A Boy Named After a Small Town in Illinois - Poem Collection
PoetryPoems I've written that are all about the same boy. His name is so unique that if I said it, there'd be no denying it was him if he found out somehow. But his name is the name of a small town in Illinois. Enjoy my unfiltered thought about him.
