i wake up and my head is killing me. i have a slight memory of what went down last night. the loud music and playing truth or dare with the veritaserum but everything else from then on was a blur

i get up and have a shower, washing my hair and exfoliating my legs when it all just hits me at once

i hit pansy AND kissed mattheo.

oh my god was the only thought going through my head. how could i have let that happen?

i groan and get out of the shower, dry myself off and start getting ready for the day.

it's only a half day for some reason, one of the professors probably have something planned and managed to convince dumbledore to let it happen

i put concealer to cover my dark under eyes, and some mascara. not too much, but enough to make me look presentable.
once i've put on my lip oil, i put on my uniform and spray perfume. finally i'm done.

i tidy up my dorm a little, i make my bed and clean up some books and a blanket that were laying on the floor

eventually i leave, and see draco at the bottom of the stairs waiting for someone

'hi draco' i say as soon as i see him

his face lights up when he sees me 'mira, finally. i've been waiting for you' he tells me as i walk down the stairs

'for what?' i ask him

'dumbledore is introducing a new student, i bet she's gonna be a slytherin. i saw her in the hallways and i got that vibe from her. she's pretty as well' draco tells me like he was exited about it

i laugh at him 'what does that have to do with me?' i ask

'well, i know we kinda made our little friend group last night but if she's in slytherin we could be her friend' he says

'okay' i chuckle, walking next to his as we leave the common room

'he's probably going to introduce her at breakfast, so we have to be on time today' draco tells me

'someone's exited' i chuckle

'new girl, so mysterious' draco says in a sarcastic tone. we laugh but only then notice that nobody is really around the hallways, come to think of it, it was only draco and i in the common room.

eventually we enter the great hall and see all the students that their tables, as soon as we open the doors everyone turns their heads and stares at us

'shit' i whisper to myself, only loud enough for draco and i to hear 'c'mon mira' draco says, pulling my arm gently and leading me to the slytherin table

i walk past pansy and she gives me one of the dirtiest looks i've ever received, so i send one right back. once we reach our group i take a seat next to draco who sat next to enzo

across from us sit mattheo, blaise and dahlia. 'morning' i say to them

'morning' dahlia smiles back

mattheo doesn't talk, he just slightly smiles at me. we make eye contact for a couple seconds before we get distracted

'attention students' professor mcgonagall says, tapping a spoon against a glass cup

dumbledore nods his head at the professor, then stands up

'i'd like to introduce a new student this morning' he tells us, looking over at a girl with tan skin and darker hair

everyones attention turns to the girl, draco was right, she was gorgeous
