mattheo riddle;
~
we apparate back to my dorm. i say goodnight to my friends, as well as amirah, my girlfriend? fiancé? future wife? i don't know where i stand with her.

i'm glad my fathers first choice was amirah, i wouldn't have been able to cope with anyone else but amirah. i think i've caught feelings for her.

i've never been shown love, so how was i supposed to give it? what does love even feel like? is it how i feel when i'm around amirah? a million thoughts race through my mind. what was amirah thinking about right now?

i didn't even ask if she wanted to get married to me, i just hoped for the best. it's not like we had a choice but i should've checked up on her.

i decided to go to her dorm, i know it was late but i needed clarity

i leave my dorm, and knock on her door quietly. florence opens the door.

'is amirah in here?' i ask the girl

'yes' she says with a smile, moving out the way to reveal amirah. she's so pretty.

'amirah, are you busy?' i ask her

'no, what's up?' amirah replies 'did you want to come to my dorm for a bit?' i ask her, hoping she's say yes

'okay' she smiles, standing up off her bed and walking over to me. 'i'll see you later florence' amirah says

'all good' florence replies.

we walk to my dorm together, i open the door and hold it for her to walk inside

she walks in my room and looks around, looking at the books on my shelf, the cologne collection on top of my drawers, the candles on my desk. observing every detail of my dorm.

'you okay?' i ask her, watching as she stops smelling my candles and walks towards me

'i'm marrying you mattheo.' she says, furrowing her eyebrows at the thought

'don't you like me?' i ask her confused

'of course i like you, a lot actually. but marriage?' she says. sitting next to me on my bed

'i know' i whisper, turning my head to her and kissing the top of her head as she stares at the floor in front of us

'we'll make it good though' i tell her

'dahlia will be my bridesmaid' she tells me

i chuckle, putting my arms around her

'and we can have like a sage green vibe' she adds on, getting exited about the wedding

'we won't get married for months, maybe even a year' i tell her

'that's okay.. but can you promise me something.' she asks me. 'anything.' i tell her

'please don't replace me with someone else. ever.' she says into my chest

'i promise' i tell her. she's crazy if she thinks i'd ever try and replace her.

'you know how my father throws that ball annually, but stopped when my mother passed away? maybe we can convince him to throw one this year?' she says

'we have the yule ball' i tell her

she looks up at me and her face lights up 'holy shit!' she says happily

'are you going to let me take you?' i ask

'yes of course' she smiles 'sounds like a plan' i tell her

the yule ball was always around christmas time, and it's november. so we have a few weeks to prepare
