On the way to the school, Dustin's walkie-talkie goes off. "Dustin, do you copy? Dustin?" Lucas asks. "Lucas!?" Dustin asks, surprised. "Where the hell have you been?" Dustin asks angrily. "Just listen, are you guys looking for Eddie?" Lucas asks. "Yeah, and we found him no thanks to you." Dustin snaps. "You found him?" Lucas asks. "He's at a boat house on Coal Mill Road. Don't worry, he's safe." Dustin explains. "You guys know he killed Chrissy, right?" Lucas asks. "That's bullshit. Eddie tried to save Chrissy." Dustin defends. "Then why do all the cops say he did it?" Lucas asks.

"Lucas, you're so behind it's ridiculous, okay? Just meet us at the school, we'll explain later." Max says as she takes the walkie-talkie away from Dustin. "I can't. I think some real bad shit is about to go down." Lucas says in a worried tone. "What are you talking about? What bad shit?" Max asks, confused, but we don't get a reply. "Lucas? Lucas?" Max tries to get in touch with him, but we still get no response.

We make it to the school as the sun sets on the horizon. We all quickly get out of Steve's car and go into the school. As we're walking down the hallways, Dustin's walkie-talkie goes off, and we hear Robin's voice on the other side.

"Dustin, do you copy?" She asks. "Yeah, I copy." Dustin replies. "So Nancy's a genius. Vecna's first victims date back all the way to 1959. Her shot in the dark was a bullseye." Robin explains. "Okay, that's totally bonkers, but I can't really talk right now." Dustin says frantically as we continue to walk down the hallways of the high school. "Wait, what are you doing?" Robin asks. "Breaking and entering in a school to retrieve some confidential and extremely personal files." Dustin explains. "Can you repeat that?" Corey asks. "Just get your asses over here, stat. We'll explain everything." Dustin says and puts his walkie-talkie back in his backpack.

We finally make it to Ms. Kelly's office and I quickly unlock the door. I go into her office, and Max, Steve, and Dustin follow behind me. I shine my flashlight around, and my eyes land on the filing cabinets. I walk over to them and unlock the one that says 'student files'. I rummage through the files until I come across Chrissy's file. "Holy shit." I say in shock as I see Fred's file as well. "You found it?" Steve asks as he walks over to me. "Yeah, and not just Chrissy's file. Fred was seeing Ms. Kelly, too." I say as I hold up Fred's file.

I take Chrissy and Fred's files over to Ms. Kelly's desk and sit down. I started to look through Chrissy's file, and I saw the symptoms she was having. Past trauma, nightmares, difficulty sleeping, and headaches. My eyes widen, and my heart rate starts to speed up. "Can I see Fred's file?" I ask. "Yeah." Steve says as he hands me the file. I open his file and look through his symptoms. I see that they're the same as Chrissy's, and my eyes widen in shock.

I think back to the problems I've been having recently. The awful headaches, random nosebleeds, horrible nightmares, and flashbacks. It feels like everything goes in slow motion, and I start to come to realization. I faintly hear Steve, Max, and Dustin calling my name, but their voices are overpowered by a darker, sinister voice. "Bella." The voice says, and I slowly turn around in my seat.

I slowly stand up and grab my flashlight. I make my way out of Ms. Kelly's office and I jump as I hear a clock chime. I turn in the direction I heard the noise and I shine my flashlight down the dark hallway. I hear the clock continue to tick and I start to walk in the direction I hear the noise. I walk around the corner of the hallway and my eyes widen as I see the clock sticking out of the wall. It chimes again and slowly walk towards it. It chimes again as I continue to walk towards it. The clock chimes a final time and ,  hear the same sinister voice from before says my name again.

I gasp as I open my eyes and see that I'm back in Ms. Kelly's office with Steve in front of me and Max holding my hand. "What the hell just happened?" I ask as my breathing picks up and my eyes widen in fear. "It's like you were in some kind of trance." Max says as Steve continues to look at me worriedly. "You didn't hear it?" I ask confused. "Hear what, Bells?" Steve asks. "The clock." I say, and they all share a worried look.

"What the hell?" I ask, mostly to myself. I stand up and grab my flashlight, and I quickly walk out of Ms. Kelly's office as Steve, Dustin, and Max follow behind me. I take the same path as I did before when I saw the clock, and I quickly round the corner to see nothing there. "It was here, right here." I say as Nancy, Corey, and Robin join us. "What was?" Corey asks. "A grandfather clock." I say as tears fill my eyes. "It was so real." I say as my tears start to fall. "And when I got closer, I suddenly just, I woke up." I say remembering what happened. "It's like she was in a trance or something." Max says. "Exactly what Eddie said happened to Chrissy." Dustin says, and my eyes widen, and my tears start to fall faster. "That's not even the bad part." I say with a shake of my head as I turn around to face them.

"Let's go back to Ms. Kelly's office." Steve suggests, and I nod. I lead the way, and Steve and Max stay beside me the whole time. We enter Ms. Kelly's office, and we gather around her desk with Fred and Chrissy's files on it. "Fred and Chrissy, they both came to Ms. Kelly for help. They both were having headaches, bad headaches that just wouldn't go away, and then- then the nightmares, trouble sleeping, they'd wake up in a cold sweat and then they started seeing things, bad things, from their past. And these visions they kept on getting worse and worse until, eventually, everything ended." I explain to everyone. "Vecna's curse." Corey says, and I nod.

"Chrissy's headaches started a week ago. Fred's six days ago. I've been having them for five days." I say, and everyone looks at me with wide eyes. "I don't know how long I have, all I know is that for Fred and Chrissy they both died less than twenty for hours after their first vision, and I just saw that goddamn clock so, looks like I'm gonna die tomorrow." I say as tears stream down my cheeks. "Bells." Steve says as he comes around the desk and wraps me into a hug. I hear Corey and Max start crying, and Dustin and Robin curse under their breaths. "Hey, it's gonna be okay. we're gonna get through this." Steve wispers to me as I continue to cry. "I'm scared, Steve." I wisper to him. "I know, but I won't let anything happen to you, gorgeous. I promise." Steve wispers as he hugs me tighter.
