WAKE UP

My head was laid against the soft green grass, Jimmy laughed while making a flower crown. I smiled and closed my eyes. This is what I wished it would be like. I felt Jimmy put the flower crown on my face. I open my eyes and sit up a bit; making the flower crown fall off and a flower fell off. I put the flower crown on and gave Jimmy the red flower, behind his ear. Jimmy blushed and touched my hand. I smiled warmly, tilting a bit closer.

It went black.

A sharp stabbing feeling came across my chest.

Why does this always have to happen..

It always came, every so often to remind me this was not reality.

This time..
It was different...

It didn't stop.

It became more and more painful as I waited for it to go away, eventually making me cry from the pain.

My eyes finally open.

I wasn't with Jimmy though.

I was in a strange field, it was empty of everything.

No trees, no flowers, and no one.

I was alone.

The field did though have tall grass and a small pond.

I stood up, the pain in my chest just like that night when I did it.

The night when I defeated Xornoth.

The night I stabbed myself.

I look in the pond.

I saw a blue streak across my chest, indicating where I had stabbed myself.

I was awake again.

Dead.

But awake.

I closed my eyes.

How?

Why?

I was happy.

Now I was here.

Dead.

I want to be alive again, if I couldn't be in my afterlife.

I open my eyes.

I look back at the pond again, and this time I look alive?

I was still dead.

I just looked alive.

I guess it was just the sword still trying to do it's job, somehow it's power was interrupted for me to me wake up.
