Test Prologues Xcom 1/2 Mass Effect

The Xcom (1) crossover

News reports all were caught off guard, so were scientists and nearly everyone on earth. It was statistically impossible to happen, but 9 meteors crashed, at the exact same time, all around the world. The Countries affected were

Each country, had one of the 9 meteorites crash into major population centers. However, when the smoke of their landing cleared, it became clear what they were, they were not just stone, they were made of a golden like metal that surrounded the shell. They were also massive, being cube like in shape, with a series of circles that encompassed the interior

The governments were quick to action, locking down, but they also realized, this was the beginnings of something, so something had to be done. The governments worked together to form Xcom, funded by the major governements, they would work to solve the mystery behind the boxes.

The first mission was simple, it was retrieval of the boxes, but first, the councilmen speaker was shrouded by a backlight.

"Hello Commander. In light of recent extraterrestrial incursion, this council of nations has convened to approve the activation of the Xcom Initiative. You have been chosen to lead this initiative to see our first, and last line of defense. Your efforts will have considerable efforts on this planet's future. We urge you to keep that in mind as you proceed. Good luck commander."

The Skyranger was sent out to investigate the nearest cute to base, that being in the United States. As Delta team landed, they moved into cover quickly. The area was evacuated of civilians.

Two soldiers moved to the flanks, waiting, as the last two rushed forward. The box was seemingly inactive. The soldier, John Williams, approached. He placed a hand on what looked like a large crystal disk.

Suddenly the machine came to life and the soldiers prepared. The spirals spun until they were all aligned, before suddenly it pulled it, and kept pulling in, much deeper than physics should allow.

"Oh hell it's like the tardis." One soldier commented.

They were all prepared to fight, when they heard a noise. Steps being heard. They grew louder slowly, getting louder and louder, until, they stopped.

"It seems that travel was rather rough. Now, would any of you be so kind to tell me, where I am?" a voice asked.

The soldiers trained their gun on the opening, before the steps were heard. Slowly from the darkness emerged. It was a person wearing a mix of armor and robes, with a mask that concealed their face. It looked like bronze or gold scales, over red cloth. In their hand was a staff, it looked like a snake, but, not exactly. The mask was black, with inlays of silver that showed the eyes that were narrow slits, and a mouth that was almost a frown.

"Who are you?" One soldier shouted.

"My name is Mohal, priestess of the Doh'vah, servant of Kolkiin, Faasuuviir, and Alduin." The woman said.

The Xcom (2) Crossover

The skyranger was able to land the team outside of the blacksite. The team was dropped down.

"Ok team, be prepared. This black site may as well be a gold mine of materials for us to use against Advent. This place was hard to find, so there must be something good inside." Central said.

"What ever you can bring us will be a great help for us in the labs, or in engineering." Tygan said.

"Let's just hope it can pack a hell of a punch, or scare the shit out of Advent." Shen said over the radio.
