I spent some time just looking out at the view over the beautiful city.
I'd do this every time I had some shit on my mind.
Go to my balcony, stare out at the sky...
Contemplate life.
All or my thoughts and feelings.
I could feel my heart drop inside of me, and twist into knots. My whole body feeling like it was on fire. Every vein inside of me feeling like it was about to burst. My lungs feeling like they were going to fail on me, because it felt like I was struggling for air. Like my chest was about to explode.
Why was I still thinking about Sofia?
She was the one that left me all of those years ago.
She was the one that abandoned me when I needed her the most.
Yet there was nothing I wanted more, than for her to be mine again, and I didn't know why. I didn't know why I couldn't forget her. I didn't know why I couldn't just bring myself to fall out of love for her.
But making her mine again just didn't seem possible.
