I walk into the restaurant, "How many people are in your party?" a woman with short black hair asks me.
"I'm actually meeting someone here,"
"Oh I see, what is their name?"
"Sky?"
"Okay, follow me!"
I follow the woman.
Butterflies swarm my stomach at each step I take.
"Here we are, a waiter will be with you all shortly,"
"Thank you,"
I see Maya, Addi, and oh wow, Sky looks even prettier in person.
I sit down next to Maya across from Sky.
"It's so weird seeing you guys in person," Sky exclaimed.
"It is, you guys are actually real" Addi agrees and we all giggle. (😂🤪)
I can't tell if this is awkward or not.
A waiter comes to our table, "Can I start you guys off with any drinks?"
We go around the table saying our orders.
Sky's accent makes me laugh a bit. It's so hot though.
We all are laughing, talking and having a good time.
"Let's go, I want to show you guys around London!" Sky says when we are done.
We get up and Sky leads us to her car.
I quickly go to the "passenger" side just to realize that it's the driver seat.
"Americans," Sky mutters.
"Shut up," I go to the other side and sit down.
I watch Maya and Addi sit in the back.
It's weird that Addi is only 16.
"First we're going to go shopping,"
Sky hooks her phone up to the radio and blasts her Ed Sheeran playlist.
We park in front of a mall.
I look around at all the british flags hanging in every corner, it's so peaceful here.
"Alright let's go," We get out and walk up to the entrance.
Me, Maya, and Addi look around not recognizing a single store name.
"Let's start here,"
We walk into a place called 'British Boutique,'
"Sexy," I say.
It's filled with clothes and jewelry.
A shirt catches my eye.
"Guys, we should get matching shirts," I exclaimed and held up the one I found.

They all agree and we buy them.
"Okay, what next?" Addi asks.
"We could either go to Primark or Zara," (shoutout to sky for giving me those 🙁)

We shop around and hang out for hours.
It was a lot of fun.
"Are we all good to stay at my house for the night?"
"Yeah!" we all agree and go back to the car.
This time Sky plays 'I love you Jesus' by Trisha Paytas on the way to her house.
We all sing along.
These brits have really good music taste.
Once we arrive we get out the house and Sky gives us a house tour.
A Few Hours Later
Sky insisted to take us to the beach to watch the sunset even though it's cold out.
The timezones are kinda hard to get adjusted to, right now it would be around 1PM in America.
We arrive and Sky gets towels and folded chairs from her trunk.
I breathe in the crisp british air once again. It feels a lot different than Michigan.
I notice a ferris wheel and what looks like a carnival in the distance
We walk down a wooden path way and set up.
Me and Addi sit on the chairs while Sky and Maya lay on the towel.
I space out admiring Sky, watching her long black hair flow in the breeze.
I realize what i'm doing but I don't stop myself, she's just so nice to look at.
Sky looks up and I snap my head towards the water.
We watch the sunset and then walk to the pier.
"Okay, me and Brooklyn will go together and then Maya and Addi will go," she explains while we enter the line for the ferris wheel and we all nod in agreement.
It soon gets to our turn and we step into the cubicle.
A worker shuts our door as I see Addi and Maya get in the one next to us.
The ferris wheel gets higher and higher until we reach the top.
"Wow, London is really pretty," I smile.
"Yeah it is," Sky blushes, not even looking at the view but at me.
I was too oblivious to notice.
The ferris wheel keeps going and soon we reach the bottom.
We all meet back and go from ride to ride.
The night ends fast and we go back to the car.
I'm pretty tired even though it's only 5PM in America.
