The main developer of Xkour - a skilled and charismatic traceur who's heavily dedicated to his friends and passions and brings out the potential in anyone.

Aliases

• One of the Twelve. The Fourth, to be specific.

• "IRL" name is Kade Parker. While him and Cyto were growing up, they were dubbed "Lewis and Park" by practically everyone due to the fact that they were an inseperable duo. Some history teacher coined the name and they haven't heard the end of it since.
He doesn't mind and even finds it funny, but Cyto doesn't like how it singles them out.

Appearance

• He has to wear contacts now because of eye strain.

• It took way too long for him to accept that his basically secret Xkour persona was still a core part of his identity after the incident, given what it was used for and all. But bygones are bygones, and he eventually bleached his originally brown hair so that he didn't have to restrict "Kilios" to the virtual world anymore. He feels happier for it.

Personality

• He's very charismatic, athletic, and practically radiates vitality.

• You know the kid back in school who could actually convince the teacher to not give out homework? The one everyone loved because they were just so dang cool and trustworthy and awesome overall that they could theoretically get anything they wanted if they didn't have the decent sense not to? Yeah, that was him down to the T. Heck, he's of college age now and he's still got it.

• Well, at least he did until a rogue Gateway struck. Hurt his social life and overall health for a good while.

Habits/Quirks

• He's always on his toes, both literally and metaphorically. Asking him to sit still for just two seconds would be like telling him to stop breathing. He's just that antsy.

Occupations

• He's a huge programming and computer geek, just like his best friend/roommate Cyto - though you wouldn't think it by looking at him. Cy fits the "introverted, sleepless programmer" bill way more than he does.

• He also used to be the lead moderator of Xkour, but became lead developer upon Dice's acquisition of the project. He doesn't have time to moderate like he used to, so he designates most of the mod work to the Guardians or his friends, with the only exceptions being if it's something incredibly important.

Relationships

• He's close with the Guardians and the rest of Team Xkour.

• His current overseer/"boss" is Dice, who he finds fun to work with because of his (Dice's) dry sense of humor and overall "cool supportive uncle who'll let you do whatever you want with the new place as long as it's reasonable" vibe.

• Not that Luni wasn't a good boss or anything, but she did pretty much ghost him.

Extra

• How on earth is this man still alive after being hooked up to a VR headset for at least a year?

Corrupted!HCs

Assist(s)

• His assist is hypnosis/mind control. This is simply the Corruption's "helpful" manifestation of his charisma and charm - and there's only about a million and a half things that could go south with this kind of power, but for the sake of keeping this PG-13 we're not going into all that.

• The way he keeps his influence in check is via channeling through his halberd. This particular halberd isn't his regular one seen in less intense circumstances, but a weapon provided to him by the Corruption. If the air around feels crackly, your skin hairs stand straight up, and you find yourself saying something that wasn't even on your mind in the first place, you're most likely being swayed.

Aliases

• Genuinely doesn't remember his own "actual" name and won't answer to it.

Personality

• He's highly aggressive and competitive to the point that it reeks of gatekeeping. Seriously, he calls everyone else "plebs" and "scrubs" because screw normalcy, I guess. Isn't the first rule of parkour something along the lines of "You're no better than anyone else" or is there something missing here?

• He still cares about his friends, even if in a fairly twisted way - the whole mind control gig was supposed to make sure his friends wouldn't have to experience pain and suffering ever again. Here's the lowdown, though: reality can't be held back forever, and suppressing your friends' emotions when the damage has already been done helps absolutely nobody. It's a nice sentiment, but no.

Habits/Quirks

• Gaslight, gatekeep, guyboss.

• He refuses to refer to his friends by anything other than their handles, too. Because again, screw reality.

• Unlike his more patient and understanding unafflicted counterpart, he's made it clear several times that he don't want no scrubs. Scrubs are newbies that can't get no love from him.

• He can't stand sounds related to pain, crying especially. It grinds his gears. And teeth.

Extra

• The "Xkour Wipe/Death Race" didn't only hurt Cyto and the others, as much as everyone would like to believe. Sure, he was offline around that time, but through the power of backup drives he was able to find and assess the damage not long after it was done. It didn't take a genius to find out what happened to the others, and he promised himself he'd find some way to rebuild. Get it all back. Make sure something of this magnitude wouldn't happen again. Reasonable motivation, right? After he entered a Gateway, however, his motives and methods of fixing everything became a lot more drastic...
