Siddharth closed his eyes terrified hugging Avneet tight, she snuggled into his chest more hearing the trigger pulled, blood was oozing out her shoulder giving her immense pain but she felt his heart pounding fast, it was beating mile per second, it was evident how safe he wanted to keep her
Brayden pulled the trigger , the gun clicked but bullet wasn't shooted ,he clicked the gun again frustrated, Siddharth gazed him tensed whereas, Avneet exhaled sharply in relief realizing the gun ran out of bullets
"Today was your day! " He shouted angry throwing the gun as he ran out
"Bloody Bastard! " Siddharth yelled furious as he ran back but Brayden ran fast through the forests
He exhaled sharply running back to the hut,
"Avu... " He called her tensed holding her shoulders
"I.. I'm fine.. " She replied in a weak voice , he cupped her face hugging her tightly
Avneet exhaled sharply gazing around, the police sirens were echoing loud as the ambulances were arriving, she breathed shakily walking ahead

"Where's Siddharth and Amaira? " She thought terrified just when she noticed Amaira on the stretcher
She walked towards her, tears leaking her eyes when she noticed the officers covering her with a white cloth, she stopped middleway, her heart seemed to refuse beat, her mind badly messed up, the surrounding seemed to dissolve that moment
Avneet gasped waking up, she gazed around she was in the hospital room, her shoulder bandaged , the machine beeping regulating her heartbeats, she gulped gazing back when she noticed Siddharth sitting lost in thoughts, he smiled as his gaze caught her
"How's you? " He asked tensed, in a weak voice

"How's Samaira? " She asked worried
"She's fine! She's pissing the doctors up but Ahaan's handling her! " Siddharth chuckled replying

"You go and treat that Aiden! We need to catch Brayden soon.. Don't know what they must be planning! " Avneet replied tensed
