love confession gone wrong

A/N (hey so I decide to make another story but I'm not sure when it well come out, but for a little sneak peek. it's going to be call "the red halo" so watch out for that when it comes out. I'm not sure when it well comes out but I'm hopping soon) 

It was the day of the dance and (y/n) was helping make the party with team rwby mostly because he wanted to make the dance more exacting. (y/n) was helping setting up the banner with yang

Yang: so (y/n), i heard that you're going to the dance

(y/n): yeah but mostly because kan told me that, he is going confused his love to elira

Yang: so you want to support you brother

(y/n): well kind of, i mostly well be there just in case that love confession goes wrong.

Yang: oh. Well I think it's about time they get together, they're meant for eachother.

(y/n): yeah

(y/n) was still hurt by this for some reason by he didn't know why, was he in love with elira

Yang: If you don't mind me asking, why don't you and your brother get along.

(y/n): what do you mean?

Yang; well, when you go on missions with him, you most of the time just do your own thing without listening to others and you too seem to not get along. Like on the mission to stop the bombs, when he wanted to use your goggle and got into a fight and you both exposed us.

(y/n): well it's complicated and something i don't really want to get into

Yang: oh. Well i'm glad that you're coming out of your shell

(y/n): yeah thanks, now helping finish putting this banner

Yang: okay

Yang and (y/n) were almost finish with the banner and were now done but yang had trouble balancing herself on the ladder and fell but (y/n) grabbed his gravity gun and saved her

Yang: Thanks for saving me.

(y/n): your welcome

Ruby then showed up

Ruby: You like carrying all your weapons around do you?

(y/n): yes ruby, i do. You never know when you need them, anyways i'm going to place the dj setup for yugo

Yang: you go do that

Time skip

(y/n) was walking around beacon so he can be by himself for a while. (y/n) was still thinking about how he was going to ask Elira to be his girlfriend, he was hurt by this for a reason he can't explain. (y/n) wasn't sure if he was in love with Elira or not, or if he was desperate to fill the empty void in his heart. He remembers when Elira was saden at the carville and how much he got angry about it. For some reason, if anyone hurted her, he would kill that person and everyone that was even closely related to that person. Was he obsessing over someone? He didn't know why though, he had everything could ever want, why would he ever need someone else in his life?

Elira: hey (y/n)

(y/n): oh hey elira

Elira: What are you doing?

(y/n): just walking around, just to think for myself

Elira: Oh that's nice. Do you want to talk for a bit?

(y/n): sure

They both walked around for a bit, talking for a bit, seeing what they are up to and if there are you to the dance or not
