Cardinal: Nigun Grid Luin, leader of the sunlight scripture, one of the scriptures of the six great gods. You are called upon to serve with honor. You will go to the Re-Estize kingdom and eliminate Gazef Stronoff. *Pulls a crystal out of his pocket* This crystal contains a miracle of the gods. Use it only if necessary.
Nigun then nods
Flasback ends:
Nigun is adressing his magic unit.
Nigun: The rats have entered our trap. Devote yourselfs to the gods and carry out their will.
Nigun then gets ready for battle.
In Carne village:
Gazef is looking at the enemies surrounding the village as a soldier comes to speak to him.
Soldier: They have surrounded us on all sides.
Ainz is looking out from a window with albedo and asks Gazef.
Ainz: Do you know who they are?
Gazef: Only the Slane theocracy could send out this many magic users at the same time. And these people are under a special unit that is directly under the head priest. They must be one of the scriptures.
Ainz: So then it is safe to assume that the theocracy was the one sending the soldiers to attack the villages.
Gazef: Yes I would say so. That means that this was a false flag operation by the theocracy. They wouldn't happen to be after you two would they?
Ainz: I don't belive so.
Gazef: Then I can only belive that they are after me.
Ainz: It seems like you are not liked by the other nations.
Gazef: Well aren't I lucky, even the Slane theocracy wants me dead.
Y/N is sitting on one of the roofs invisible. Y/N an Ainz are thinking the same thing.
"Those things looks like arch angel flames, so there elements of Yggdrasil in this world."
Gazef then gets Ainz' attention.
Gazef: Sir Ainz, i would like to hire you.
Y/N hearing this gets interested.
Ainz: I am sorry, but I am not available to be hired at the momment.
Y/N hearing this gets a litle sad
Y/N: "Could have accuired more money today, oh well. Can't always get everything."
Gazef then smiles.
Gazef: That is sad to hear. Thank you master Ainz, this village owes you grattitude and so do I. I am grateful but i would like to ask you a selfish reguest. Please grant these villagers your protection one more time, i beg you.*Gets on one knee*
Ainz: You do not need to go that far Gazef. I have already prmised to protect this village, I will even put the name on Ainz Ooal Gown on the line.
Y/N: "Now promising that on his name, that's new
Gazef then gets up.
Gazef: Then I have nothing to worry about. Instead i will focus on the task at hand.
