Sonic and the Black Knight: Sonally Edition

Chapter 1

Sonic and Merlina suddenly appeared in a forest.

They began walking through it as a mysterious fog covered it.

"Why'd you stop me?" questioned the unamused hedgehog, "I could've taken him down, no problem!"

"You do not understand," said Merlina as she stopped, "He cannot be wounded."

Sonic turned to her in confusion. 

"How can that be?"

Merlina turned to face him.

"He bears the scabbard of Excalibur."

"Hey, wait a second..." Sonic said as he scratched his head, "I think I've heard that name before..."

Sonic began to look back on his memories.

It could have been in a book Sally read to him, but he wasn't so sure.

"Excalibur is King Arthur's sword." stated Merlina.

That's when it hit him.

"Oh, yeah, right!" he exclaimed, "So that means..."

Merlina then pulled out a map of Camelot and gave it to Sonic.

"This is the land ruled by King Arthur." she said as Sonic opened the map.

"Woah!" exclaimed Sonic, "But was thhat really the King himself? I mean, he seemed way different in the stories."

Merlina didn't reply to this.

She instead pulled up the hood to her cloak.

"Let us go. We can talk along the way."

She turned to Sonic and smiled.

"Let me introduce myself. I am Merlina the Wizard."

Sonic then smiled back and gave her a thumbs up.

"I'm Sonic! Sonic the Hedgehog!"

As Sonic and Merlina spoke, a hooded figure hid within the trees.

They had no idea Merlina would escape to her forest, not to mention the strange hedgehog with her.

They tried to remain calm as Sonic dashed past them, then let out a sigh of relief when he was out of sight.

Merlina spoke up, as if she was speaking directly to them.

"Do not be afraid, for I believe he shall save us all."

That's when another gust of wind appeared, and Merlina was gone.

The figure then decided to follow them to see if Sonic truly is their savior, and quietly dashed off in his direction.
