Grace Meets Shrek

Chapter 8

As they were walking through the forest, Shrek belched and Donkey said "Shrek!"

"What? It's a compliment. Better out than in, I always say" Shrek said

"Well it's no way to behave in front of a princess" Donkey said

Fiona burps louder, they were surprised and she said as she walks away "thanks"

"She's as nasty as you are" Donkey said

"Donkey!" Grace said

"You know, you're not exactly what I expected" Shrek said

"Well, maybe you shouldn't judge people before you get to know them" Fiona said and she took Grace's hand, went ahead, stated singing and doing a little dancing with Grace a little bit until a man grabbed them and swing up to the tree

"Grace! Princess!" Shrek said

"Wait, wait, are you doing?" Fiona asked the man

"Be still Cherie, for I am your Savior and I am rescuing you two from this green" the Man said he kisses Fiona's hand "beast"

"Hey! those two belong to me, go find your own" Shrek said

"Please monster, can't you see I'm a little busy here" the man said

"Look pal, I don't know who you think you are" Grace said

"Oh! Of course, how rude" he said "please let me introduce myself. Oh Merry Man"

Then the music started

Fiona swoops in and kicks him as the music stops

"Man, that was annoying!" Fiona said

"Oh you little" one of the merry men said and he was about to shot an arrow at her, but she missed and it to the tree and bounced off

While Fiona was fighting with the men, Shrek and Donkey was shocked to see her like that

"Now that's what I call girl power" Grace said

After Fiona defeated the men, she went to Shrek and Donkey who were still shocked, she said "shall we?" and she went to help Grace down from the tree and walked away

"Hold the phone" Shrek said and he dropped Donkey to the ground and try to catch up with Fiona and Grace "whoa, whoa, whoa, hold on now, where did that come from?"

"What?" Fiona asked

"That! Back there was amazing" Shrek impressed "where did you learn that?"

"Well, when one lives alone, one has to learn these things in case there's a-" Fiona said but then Grace noticed a arrow on Shrek's butt

"There's an arrow in your butt" Grace points at it

"What?" Shrek asked and he noticed it "oh would ya look at that"

"Oh no, this is all my fault, I'm so sorry" Fiona said when Donkey caught up with them

"Why, what's wrong?" Donkey asked

"Shrek's hurt!" Grace said

"Shrek's hurt? Shrek's HURT? Oh, no, Shrek's gonna die!" Donkey panicked

"Donkey, I'm okay!" Shrek said

"You can't do this to me, Shrek, I'm too young for you to die! Keep your feet elevated! Turn your head and cough! Does anybody know the Heimlich? Donkey panics again

Fiona grabs Donkey and said "Donkey, calm down! If you want to help Shrek, go into the forest and look for a blue flower with red thorns"

"Blue flower, red thorns! Okay, I got it! Blue flower, red thorns! Blue flower, red thorns! Don't die, Shrek, and if you see any long tunnels, stay away from the light!" Donkey said

"DONKEY!" Shrek, Fiona and Grace said

"Okay, okay. Blue flower, red thorns! Blue flower, red thorns!" runs off

"What're the flowers for?" Shrek asked

"For getting rid of Donkey" Fiona said

"Ah" Shrek said

"Now you hold still, and I'll yank this thing out" Fiona said as she tries to pull it out but Shrek jumps out in pain

"Ow! Hey! Easy with the yanking" Shrek said

"Well, I'm sorry, but it... but it has to come out" Fiona said

"No, no, it's tender" Shrek said

"Shrek, would you stop moving?" Grace said as Fiona continues to try and remove it while he tries to stop her

"Now, hold on" Fiona said "don't move"

"Would... would you... what you're doing is the opposite of help, okay look, look, time out" Shrek said and he grabbed Fiona's face

"Would you?" Fiona said and she pushed his hand out of her and said "okay, what do you propose we do?"

Then Fiona get Shrek to the ground and she grabbed the arrow, Grace grabbed him so he wouldn't move and he screamed in pain

"Ow! Not good" Shrek said

"Okay, okay I can ease, it's just about" Fiona said

Then Shrek rolled over and it made Fiona go on top of him but it made Grace being pushed, she lost her balanced and she fell into a pond

Donkey cleared his throat and they noticed him

"Nothing happened" Shrek said and he pushed Fiona off "we were just uhh...?"

"Look, if you wanted to be alone, all you had to do is ask, okay?" Donkey said

"Oh come on, that's the last thing on my mind" Shrek said "the princess here was just-"

Fiona managed to pull the arrow out off his butt

"Ow" Shrek said in pain

"Hey what's that? that's, that's, is that blood?" Donkey said and he fainted

"Wait, where's Grace?" Fiona asked

They went through the bushes and saw Grace sitting in the pond and she spit out water

"Are you okay?" Shrek asked

"Could of been worse" Grace said as she got up "it could of been mud"

Fiona helped Grace out of the pond, Shrek picked up Donkey and they were on their way
