Grace Meets Shrek

Chapter 10

While Grace and Donkey were still asleep, it was sunrise and Fiona was turned back into a human, Shrek came and told her that he heard everything from last night, she hoped that she understand but he said it hurts when she said who could ever love an ugly beasts but she was actually taking about herself as an ogre

Then Lord Farquaad came with his guards arrived and Donkey and Grace woke up

"Princess Fiona" Farquaad said

"As promised" Shrek said "now hand it over"

"Very well, ogre, the deed to your swamp cleared out as agreed, just take it and go before I change my mind" Farquaad said when the guard shows him the scroll of his rights and Shrek yanks it out of the guard's hand and turns to Fiona "forgive me, princess for startling you but you startled me, for I have never seen such radiant beauty before. I am Lord Faquaad"

"Lord Farquaad! Oh, oh no, no forgive me, my lord I was playing a short-" Fiona said as Farquaad ordered the guard to put him off his horse and landed to the ground and Fiona was surprised of his height "farewell"

"Oh that is so sweet, you don't have to waste good manner on the ogre, it's not like he has feelings" Farquaad said

"No, you're right" Fiona said

"Princess Fiona, beautiful fair flawless Fiona, I ask your hand in marriage" Farquaad said as he takes her hand and kneed down "will you be the perfect bride, for the perfect groom?"

She looked at Shrek and said "Lord Farquaad, I accept, nothing would-"

"Excellent I'll star the plan, for tomorrow we wed" Farquaad said as he was to about to leave

"NO! I mean uh, why wait? Let's get married today before sunset" Fiona said

"Oh anxious are we? You're right the soon the better" Farquaad said and he snapped his finger to get the guard to get him back on his horse "there's so much to do, there's the caterer, the cake, the band, the guest list, Captain round up some guest and I would like to have the little girl as the flower girl"

"Wait, what?" Grace surprised and then Captain picked her up, held her against his shoulder and she sees Shrek and Donkey "Shrek, Donkey"

"Fare thee well, ogre" Fiona said and her and Grace were off to Duloc to get ready for the wedding

A while later, at the castle, Grace who was in her flower girl dress, saw Fiona in her wedding dress and sees that she's not happy, when the maids left, Grace went up to her, gave her a hug and Fiona hugged her back

When the sunset came, they were in a huge cathedral, Grace was few inches away from Fiona, watching the ceremony

"Um excuse me um? Can we just skip ahead to the I dos" Fiona said

Farquaad chuckled and said to the priest "go on"

During the ceremony, Grace looks around to see when will Shrek be here

"Shrek, where are you?" Grace whispers to herself

As Farquaad and Fiona were about to kiss, the door flung open and it was Shrek "I OBECT!" as he runs down the isle

"Shrek?!" Fiona and Grace said

"Oh now what does he want?" Farquaad frustrated

"Hi everyone, having a good time, are ya?" Shrek said to the guests "I love Duloc first of all, pretty clean"

"What are you doing here?" Fiona asked

"Really, it's rude enough being alive when no one wants you, but showing up uninvited to a wedding-" Farquaad said
