Ben was crying trying to climb back up he was slowly slipping out from Darius who was struggling to keep hold of his hand "Help!" once Ben slipped out Darius grabbed hold of him with both hand's Y/N had grabbed hold of his jeans allowing better mobility Ben smiled for a second Pteranodons hit into him losing Darius grip in a split-second Ben was gone disappearing amongst the trees with two Pteranodons chasing him.
The entire group was silent i sat down feeling the urge to cry Ben was gone we couldn't save him "You're a failure" my father's voice played through my head over and over it was my guilt punishing using the voice of who i hated the most, Brooklyn looked at me for answer "The monorail's going back!" the monorail was heading the north route away from the docks.
We all jumped from the train rolling down a grass hill the pain of hitting a tree was not so bad getting back to my feet Bumpy was gone she must have left to go find Ben "We can't go back for Ben, Ben's... gone" the last ferry was in 60 minutes "Alright people let's move" i looked amongst the group with determination on my face.
Running fast Yasmina's ankle wasn't going to hold up thinking of a plan Darius remembered the Maintenance tunnels quickly opening the gate dropping down the lights was off with the red emergency lights following Kenji trusting if he knew the actual way to go, honestly had no idea if he actually the park was locking down automatically with the gates cutting our path meaning we would have to go round finding a stun baton for Yasmina to use for a crutch loud snarls radiated through the tunnel shadows of something coming meant danger this was bad.
Davy and Roxy made it to the docks hoping to hear if the kids came through here deciding to go back into the island to check a security guard was demanding they get on the ferry "If we refuse" The guard pulled out his stun baton threating to put them on physically on the boat.
It's got closer the snarls becoming louder it was a compy it was better than nothing a whole pack of them "Will everyone be quiet!" a bigger roar got our attention compies hightailed it out of here "Toro" running for my life trying to avoid Toro he was faster down here.
Hiding in a vent crawling trying to be quiet in underground tunnel with echo's would be a challenge Toro burst in the entrance vent pulling Brooklyn away by her jumper she blushed realising it was me holding her quickly hurrying out the vent pushing it closed to slow Toro down seeing an exit to south dock sign running happy.
It was a dead end the park had sealed it off Toro's distant roars i turned to Darius for guidance "I don't know!" Darius was having a breakdown from the pressure "I don't know i didn't know what to do about Ben or Bumpy or when the Indominus rex attacked" Darius anxiety hit high for him it was hard to watch feeling guilt for pressuring him.
Darius: All i did was make bad choices get into trouble and mess everything up, you never should've trusted me i should've just stayed home i'm a Dino nerd who played a video game and i'm no good at this
Kenji: But you are good at this i mean like i'm sure you're fine at video games too not downplaying that [Yas poked him with the rod] but... none of us have known what to do Darius because you didn't give up, we didn't give up either
Sammy: You kept us going no matter what some of us have done
Yasmina: You made us feel like we were in this together, so we are we're a team we're your team
Brooklyn: Things fall apart and that's okay because when that happens [Brooklyn nudged Y/N]
Y/N: We pick up the pieces and we keep going
As individuals we were lost broken unsure of ourselves as a team though we were stronger than ever focused on our objective Toro distant roars were getting closer "Let's see what's in these crates searching the crates for anything of use Kenji found one containing medical tanks a plan was formed to use them to scare Toro off with creating an explosion setting the crate on cart i helped make a fuse with Sammy seeing Toro enter where we were ready to execute the plan the fuse wouldn't light Kenji sprayed hand sanitizer on it Yas using the stick to light it.
"Now!"
With all our might pushed the cart towards Toro getting down to hide he smacked straight into it sending fire and planks right at us the tanks spiralled out onto the tracks my jacket caught fire quickly putting it out "Oh man" Toro roared making me scream running away trying to avoid his grasp Kenji narrowly avoided being eaten.
Toro went ahead for Brooklyn she evaded quickly getting out the way Yas fell due to her ankle her stun rod clinked making Toro aware he roared going for her Darius threw a plank of wood for it to start chasing him taking a plank of wood with me "Hey dumbass" Toro turned to me hitting him with the plank going for an overhand plank hit Toro wacked me with his tail landing on an empty crate wincing from the pain, Toro now angry charged full speed at me Brooklyn grabbed my hand pulling me onto the track landing on top of her we both blushed like crazy rolling to the side to avoid getting bit getting up running.
Toro charged at Darius he dodged at the last second Kenji helped him up Toro thrashed around knocking a tank loose it started spraying Darius lined it up throwing the rod the electricity interacting with the gas created a big explosion coughing from the smoke the entire place was wrecked "That was awesome" Toro burst out rubble he was burnt fumes coming off him prepared to keep fighting standing as a group Toro slowly started walking away cheering from all of us, we beat Toro the blast created holes in the wall.
Running with the group to find the docks empty they had all left meaning we were all stuck on the island in the moment it felt right being here with all of us as a team looking at the sun shining beautiful.

Leonard L/N looked amongst a full room of Mantah Corp employees celebrating his announcement regarding the new circumstance not caring that his own son was stuck on the island.
