Loving you was the most exquisite form of self destruction
Loving you tore my heart apart
Loving you made tears fall down my cheeks like overflowing rivers
Loving you hurt
Like a knife in the chest
Loving you left me in the dirt
SearchingSearching for why I spent time loving you
Loving your curls
And your stims
And your giddy little giggle
Loving your over-excited smiles
And the way you made me fickleLoving you was wonderful
In every miserable way
Loving you made me leave
Even though I wanted to stay
loving you made it hard to breathe
Because you took my breath away
And maybe I should not use past tense
When I talk about loving you
And maybe I should not lie
And say I am okay
