Mia felt the wind leave her wings for the fifth time that day and groaned “Seriously now.”
Her wings started to stager and slow as the ground started getting closer. She could have sworn she at least knew the basics of flying but I guess not. No one seemed to notice the girl had separated from the group, but she couldn’t call out to her friends, the winds had stolen her voice as well as her basic flying skills. The ground continued to come closer as Mia’s wings tried their best to keep up with Centopia’s gravity yet it remained persistent in bringing the girl down to the surface, but Mia was as stubborn if not more. Maybe she could save herself. As soon as that very thought crossed Mia’s mind the ground slammed her swiftly ending any thought train with a load thud.
