it's tuesday afternoon and aurora is sitting in her living room, curled into a slight ball underneath her fluffiest blanket as she rewatches 'the summer i turned pretty' for the fiftieth time.
she didn't do anything the whole weekend or went out at all after filming for the triplets channel on friday. she just wasn't in the mood. she finished school for the day just two hours ago, catching her usual ride home from elijah. school is not her favorite thing in the world right now. she used to not mind it at all but with all of matt's staring and lack of actual conversation, just merely entering the building is enough to drive her up the wall.
the entire friend groups dynamic is also off which she knows is partially her fault because everyone has to be ridiculously cautious around matt and aurora now. ross' presence is also now a thing when it wasn't before and it seems there's a lot of struggles adjusting to it, especially with matt. there's some struggles on auroras part herself too but she seriously does not have time to go into that right now. there's just this new tensity to the air that wasn't there before. the tension grew after filming for the baking video and is well alive during the school days.
