I WORE a black t-shirt dress with a corset over my waist with mesh tights underneath again, chunky heels with ankle straps and silver jewelry. It was family day today, and it was a very joyous day, grossly enough. We observed from the balconies of the school, people sang and welcomed the parents with manners.

"Let's go, guys," Mal said, walking down the stairs, and we followed her. I glanced at Carlos where he walked with Dude in his hands. We walked through the tables when the boys saw a chocolate fountain. He handed me Dude and the two gorged on strawberries and chocolate.

I spoke with the girls before we heard Ben call his girlfriend over. "Oh, I gotta go."

"Mhm, bye, Mal~" I waved in a sing-song voice, rubbing the dog's head.

"I wish they could stay a couple, they're so cute." Evie wished with a sigh of sadness.

"Well, better soak it all in now, E." I smiled, admiring the couple as she was introduced to the King and Queen.

I was speaking to the King and Queen with Evie while the others played croquet or like Carlos, ran around chasing Dude. "Are you two nervous about Ben filling in your shoes?" E asked with a smile.

"No," Belle replied.

"Yes." Adam nodded, and his wife smacked his chest.

"He's been preparing for this day for years. After all, he is our only heir." She grinned, hands in front of her.

"I bet. It is a big responsibility and title." I nodded my head with a laugh. Suddenly we heard someone shout. I turned around and saw an elderly lady looking at Mal sternly with Audrey by her side. "Who's that?"

"Audrey's grandmother, Queen Leah." The beast filled me in, and I nodded, understanding the problem at hand. By now, everyone's gaze was set upon Mal and Queen Leah.

"H-how are you here? And how... have you stayed so young?" The old queen questioned, looking terrified of my friend when Ben put his hands on Mal's arms. I walked over with Evie, joining Jay.

"Queen Leah, it's okay. Maleficent is still on the island. This is her daughter, Mal. Don't you remember my proclamation to give the new generation a chance?" Benjamin smiled charmingly.

"A chance to what, Ben? Destroy us? Come on. You remember, don't you? The poisoned apples and the spells. Spells. My daughter was raised by fairies because of your mother's curse. So, her first words, her first steps, I missed it all!" She shouted, glaring at us and turning around to Fairy Godmother.

"I'm so sorr-" M apologized, reaching a hand out to touch her, but Chad stepped in front

"Stay away from her!" Charming ordered, pointing a finger.

"Don't do this, Chad," Ben advised him.

"What? They were raised by their parents, Ben. What do you think villains teach their kids? Huh? Kindness? Fair play? No way, okay? Uh-uh." He shook his head, looking at him like he was stupid. He glared at M, "You stole another girl's boyfriend."

"Hey! Hey!" The prince exclaimed.

Chad looked at us three. "You're mean. You're a thief. And you... You're nothing but a gold digger and a cheater."

"Mirror, mirror, in my hand, who's the biggest jerk in the land." E spoke to her mirror and shoved it in his face.

"What? Pff, come on!" He threw her arm down, making her stumble, but held her in place.

"Back off Chad." My brother ordered, grabbing onto his jacket. Then Evie sprayed the perfume in Charming's face.

"Chad! Chad!" Audrey cried while J let him fall.

"Evie did something to Chad!" Lonnie yelled worriedly, shaking him awake with Audrey and Doug.

"Mal, let's go, now." I took her hand in mine and we left.

We were seated at a picnic table, none of us eating when Ben came over warily of our mood.

"Hey, guys." He smiled lightly at us and stood beside my brother. "How is everyone?.. Yeah? Hey, listen. Forget about it. All right? It was nothing. Forget about it. Let it go. Tomorrow, after the coronation, I promise everything will be okay." Ben leaned down and whispered to Mal before leaving us. "I'll see you guys later."

"Listen, Evie, I wanna talk about earlier today. I just..." Doug approached E before Charming yelled for him.

"Doug."

"It's my fault, Doug. I'm so sorry."

"No, it's mine."

"Doug!"

"What?"

"Doug..." E sighed, sadly.

"Sorry, I can't." He apologized going over and sitting with Chad.

"How long does she think that's gonna last?" Audrey asked Jane from right behind us. "Mal's just the bad girl infatuation."

"Yeah, I mean, he's never gonna make a villain a queen." Godmother's daughter said right in M's ear. Mal pulled out her book, flipping through the pages before moving her finger in all directions.

"Beware, forswear, undo Jane's hair." We heard a shriek from behind us and M got up.

"Ew!" Audrey gasped.

"There's a lot more where that came from." She warned angrily.

"Excuse me, who do you think you are!?" Aurora's daughter scoffed, hand on hip.

"Do I look like I'm kidding?" The purple-haired girl questioned, flicking through her book, and they all scrambled away. "I'm really looking forward to tomorrow. Let's grab that wand and blow this popsicle stand."

We all stood up and left. Maybe these princes and princesses should be kicked out of their damn castles.
