Observing the kitchen Sona found herself disappointed since nothing was around. No cake but what was she really expecting

"Sona!" She could hear her mother's voice yell and Sona sighed walking out. She walked over to her stern looking mother slowly

"You called mother?" She asked softly, tilting her head. Estie clenched her teeth her fist curling tightly as she swung and landed a harsh blow to the girls face

"You need to fix that attitude. I brought you into this world and all you can do is give me such sass!" Estie yelled her whole frame shaking. Sona stood up slowly wiping her face and looking at the blood trickling from her face. She could feel the intense gaze of the others in the room but she only was focused on her mother.

"For 18 years I have taken care of you without your father, might I add. I have given you so much and you're still so ungrateful" Estie brushed her hands along her dress to calm. Sona stared at her with an intense gaze. Her eyes gleaming with such malence. Her short blond hair brushed off to the side showcasing the wonderful yellow that had Karl and his sons staring at said eye intently.

"When did I say I was ungrateful, mother?" Sona says softly tilting her head and smiling but the smile felt threatening to Estie as she took a step back in fear.

"You cut that out right now Sona! You know what you did. Walking off while we have guests. Your behavior and your little delusions!" Estie narrowed her eyes as Sona tilted her head taking a step forward

"Forgive me, mother. I would never mean to cause you such harm" Sona bowed. Estie calmed her gaze down as she stared down at her bowing daughter. She placed a hand slowly on her head

"Yes, good" Estie mumbled softly placing her hand on her daughter's head and swiftly leaving

"Let's celebrate" Estie called to the group from the table. Sona slowly straightened up glaring at the wall in front of her with such venom that if Estie was still there she would probably die from fear. Turning Sona glanced at Karl and his sons before walking into the dinning room and sitting herself next to her mother quietly. Karl sortly filled, letting himself take the seat next to her as the others took various seats around. The maids served them food but Sona didn't bother moving. Her gaze was strictly stuck at staring at the doors watching her ghost friends pretend Ish was her mother beating her up. Sona kept her smiling hidden with a sip of her drink every time she found herself slipping.

"So Sona, how have you been my dear?" Karl asked turning his gaze to look at her as Sona brushed her hair in front of her eye casually

"I've been well, You?" She asked calmly, choosing to drink from her glass once more letting her intense gaze stare him down. Karl shifted in his seat smirking down at the girl

"Very well" he answered and Sona looked away done with their conversation

"Miss Estie!" A maid yelled running in and bowing down. Estie stood up walking over
