I smiled to myself. "You look excited." Alec said coming up behind me. "I am." I laughed. "Home come?" He asked me. "My favorite singer, Jvke, is coming out new music." I responded. "Oh, I know who that is, he's pretty good." I felt my heart skipped a beat. I smiled even harder. "I didn't know we had the same music taste." "Apparently so." He laughed. "See ya later Alec." I said nodding to my class. "See ya!" He smiled.
I walked into class clearly distressed. "Hey? What's up? Are you okay Y/n?" My best friend asked me. "No! B/F/N, I'm not okay! I don't know what to do." I said putting my hands in my hair. "Woah, it's okay, tell me what's wrong."
"It's A! (Alec's code name) I love him, I generally love him. But I'm not letting myself move on from E/n(exs name). I don't know what to do!" I said completely forgetting my ex was in this class. I panicked. I look over to see if they where in here. They aren't here yet. "Wait? Y/n! You love someone?? Holy shit." B/F/N stated. "I know! I never fall, it's hard even just admiring it. But A, he just, he just has this hold on me!" I said looking down after noticing E/n walked in. "Well you gotta tell him!" BFN said. "It's not that easy, I was told he has a significant other, but I don't know! That was a while ago." I said. "You clearly love A, you need to accept that you do." "I know, but I can't allow myself too. I still care about someone else." I stated.
"You don't have to move on that quickly, besides if A is seeing someone, you need to let go." BFN said. "You're right. I still have plenty of time." Plenty of time..
