Reception is the start of Primary School for British children. They start at the age of 4. America starts around 4-6 I believe so it will be going at different paces. I may get confused as well so that's just a warning.

Tom had managed to help his daughter with her slight Seperation Anxiety. She could now go a while without her dad being beside her. She was however four now and finally able to go into Reception. Tom was slightly thankful he was currently filming in London.

Tom woke up early the morning of her going to reception. He got himself in the shower before pulling on his clothes, sorting out his brown hair while walking to his daughters bedroom which hadn't changed since she was 2. They had been London since then.

"Darling, it's time to wake up." Tom spoke gently, opening the curtains.
"Morning Daddy..." Y/N mumbled.
"Morning Darling, time to wake up. Are you excited for your first day at Reception?" Tom asked, picking up his daughter before grabbing out some clothes for her in her closet.
"Wanna stay with you Daddy..." Y/N seemed to pout, clearly not happy her dad was leaving her for the day. It was understandable since she was use to going to work with him.

Tom smiled softly, helping her get her clothes on. He was teaching her how to get dressed herself, but he still needed to help her.

He then helped her into some leggings

He then helped her into some leggings.
"You like your outfit, Darling?" Tom asked.
"Yes Daddy." Y/N nodded.

Tom took her downstairs, putting her into her highchair while making her some breakfast. He made some yogurt and fruit since he didn't have the time to make toast and eggs for her.
Tom then handed her a spoon, smiling as she ate her yogurt and fruit.
Tom grabbed his tea, drinking it with his breakfast while checking his phone as well.

After a bit, they finished their breakfast. Tom left her to play with her toys until it was time to go. He knew reception wasn't mandatory for Y/N but he knew he could only teach her so much. She would be in the morning session of reception, 8:45am - 11:45am. Tom's assistant would then pick her up from Reception and then bring her to set.

Tom soon got her to Reception before walking in, holding her in his arms.
"Ah! Mr Hiddleston, so nice to meet you." The teacher said, rushing over. Clearly, she knew him as a celebrity.
"You are the teacher, yes?" Tom asked.
"Yeah, I'm Miss Donald, I'm going to be looking after these little ones. You must be Y/N, right?" Donald asked Y/N who nodded.
"My assistant will be picking Y/N up, you got the email with her picture, correct?" Tom asked, putting Y/N down, despite her cuddling to his leg.
"Yes I did, I will make sure Y/N leaves with the right person. Is there anything else?" Donald asked.
"She's not exactly use to being too far away from me. She might be a little shy for a while." Tom stated, gently putting his hand on her head.
"That's fine." Donald smiled.

"Right Darling, I'm heading off now, I will see you soon on set, alright?" Tom asked.
"Ok daddy.." Y/N spoke, clearly upset.
"Behave for me, alright?" Tom asked.
"Ok Daddy." Y/N nodded.

Tom kissed Y/N's forehead before leaving, feeling slightly bad he was leaving her.

Y/N spent her time at Reception playing as well as slightly learning. She learnt colours. Teachers were slightly suprised when she could say each colour afterwards.

After Reception, the assistant came and took her to set. Y/N wasted no time before running to her dads side who was talking to the director.

"Hey Darling, how was school?" Tom asked.
"Good." Y/N grinned.
"What did you learn?" Tom asked.
"Colours." Y/N answered.
"Ok, what colour is daddy's hair?" Tom asked.
"Brown."
"My Shirt?"
"Green."
"My shoes?"
"Blue."
"Your shirt?"
"Blue."
"Your skirt?"
"Blue."
"And your shoes?"
"White?"
"Well done Darling. I'm proud of you." Tom grinned.

Tom let her watch her on set. His assistant dealing with her when he wasn't able to. Thankfully they got home and he taught her some more. She was learning to write as well, she was alright at it, knowing how to write. But her spelling wasn't good at all. Which was perfectly normal at that age. But he was determined to teach her.
