And it is no doubt that then, just then, the Gazegani Empire became the center of the world. It is no doubt that the City of Sin became the most envied jewel of the continent, the most unforeseen and menacing weapon of imperialism. Only when they started robbing the other universes of their lifeblood did they find true destructive power. Only when the call of money grew stronger than the voice of salvation, did the Voyaging Agents turn their backs on their teachers and their mothers, and wage unholy war on the Cosmos.
And when they say they've killed men for a spot in the ranks, believe them.
When they say they fought wars to keep their claws wrapped around the pearly gates of the city, know that they will never hesitate to do it again.
The Monitors, the Professors, the Cosmic Library, they are little more than starved beasts. They sing its name, Sinasen, conqueror-city, industry-city, killer-city.
They built it.
And in their hands it will fall.
