Matty's POV

I was sitting in construction class, just taking down some notes for the next test, when the teacher snapped their fingers to get our attention

"Attention students, We have a new student joining our class, This is bria, she just transferred here from glandus" the teacher introduced Bria into our class!?! Oh come on!?!

Bria walked over and sat beside me, this day cannot get any worse!?!

Luckily 10 minutes later, the bell rang, signaling for all of us to go home, Finally! I'm also curious as to why the teacher introduced us to bria so late.

I sat up from my desk and Walked out of the class, I walked over to my locker and opened it.

"Hey Matty" I heard someone said, I turned and saw Gus leaning against the locker beside mine

"Hey Augustus" I said, putting my books into my locker

"Wanna head to the illusionist graveyard and hangout for a bit?" Gus asked

"Sure" I answered

Gus smiled and put his hand up, I am confused, what is he asking me to do?

"Luz said its called a high five, it's something  done between friends, im guessing you've never done a high five before" Gus explained

I nodded, Gus grabbed my wrist softly and placed my hand against his, I blushed a bit.

"It's kinda like this but it does not go for this long, it's a clap against the hand for a second" Gus explained the high five me to

Me and Him did a high five and it felt exhilarating

Me and Gus began laughing, I closed my locker and me and Gus ran out of the school to go to the illusionist graveyard.

Me and Gus arrived at the illusionist graveyard.

"I win!" Gus Cheered as we entered it

I rolled my eyes

"Sure ya did" I muttered

Gus laughed and I blushed a lot, how come his laugh was so cute!?!

"You owe me a prize soon Matty" Gus announced

I groaned and walked further into the graveyard and I saw the grounds keeper

"Hello Boys" He said

"Hi Mr Grounds keeper" Gus said

"What brings you 2 by?" The grounds keeper asked

"Me and Matty are here to hangout for a bit" Gus said

"Well you 2 can hangout here whenever you wish," The grounds keeper said

Gus grabbed my hand and pulled me over to a pillar that's knocked over and we both sat on it.

We began talking to eachother about random stuff, and I found myself laughing with him, and blushing whenever he complimented me.

"Alright, I'll brb" I told Augustus as I walked over to the grounds keeper

Me and the grounds keeper began whispering

"I need your help with something" I asked
