context, i went to a concert for BAND-MAID (a japanesse rock band consisting of only females) the other day, and I got a CD for one of their albums, specifically, Unseen World (which has some bangers in it). I was looking at the images they had in the little booklet that had the lyrics to every song on the CD, and these images are basically hands interacting with stuff in old photos, it's pretty cool, so i decided to draw something based on these images. I thought of having the hands hold a TV with a game in it, but I had no idea what game. I was thinking "well, what game has some sort of weird factor to it?", and that's when I remembered how much of an fever dream Katamari Damacy looks like. So yeah, Katamari Damacy art with a bit of inspiration from the art associated with the album Unseen World by BAND-MAID. Enjoy!
