so if you didnt know, a bit before the release of the mario we all know and love, there was a donkey kong arcade game you kinda just try to make your way up to the monkey while avoiding barrels and stuff because DK over here stole Pauline, aka the love interest or something idk im very sure this was the inspiration for the formula all mario games have nowadays, from the fact that you gotta save a damsel in distress from a b i g bad guy to just the main character in general basically, the protagonist of the donkey kong arcade game was called Jumpman...until they renamed him Mario- sooo i made him a seprate character from the red plumber, now have my design of him
