Chapter 1

"Teresa don't you dare die on me." Jeremy cried holding me closer to him.

I let out a gasp before moving up causing the pole drive deeper in my stomach.

"Jeremy I-I." I couldn't reply as it hurt.

I started feeling light headed as I heard a voice yell my name.

"Teresa!" It was Dad which I knew from the sound of his voice.

He came to my side, dropping down beside me as tears falling from his eyes.

"What did you do?!" Dad yelled at Jeremy.

"She saved me I didn't think she would."

"Of course, she would! She's in love with you!" Dad yelled at him.

"D-don't." I gasped out, grabbing Dad's hand.

"Teresa, don't die on me young lady. I can't lose you!" Dad squeezed my hand.

Then Elena, Stefan, Bonnie, and Caroline came.

"Oh God." Caroline covered her mouth with tears in her eyes.

"You." I shakily pointed to Bonnie.

"Watch him."

"And you two." I pointed to Stefan and Elena. "Make sure he doesn't do anything stupid."

"Teresa, you'll be fine, you'll get better." Jeremy sobbed.

"Young lady, you are not going to die." Dad said trying not to cry.

I saw the light, I didn't want to go but maybe I'll see my mom.

"I love you bo..." I tried to tell them but I took my last breath.

I gasped for air looking around as the sun shines down on me and birds were chirping.

I shot up breathing hard just trying to take everything in.

"Hey... You'll be fine." A voice said as I jumped.

I looked to see a guy with short hair and a Beatles t-shirt, making his way to me.

"Wh-who are you?" I asked him.

"I'm Kai, and what's your name?" He asked.

"Teresa." I said.

"Do you remember anything? Anything at all." Kai asked.

"I died saving my boyfriend... uh My Dad and him took it hard." I replied.

"Well stick with me and you'll be fine." Kai grabbed my hand helping me up.

"By the way it's only us... and I'm not complaining." I nodded dusting off my jeans.

"Where are we anyways?" I asked him.

"Mystic Falls, Virginia. 1994." He said.

"Wait... we're?" I didn't finish as I took off running towards the boarding house

"Teresa wait!" Kai ran after me.

Being the daughter of a vampire and a witch, I was quicker than others.

I didn't know if becoming a full vampire,  still worked in a prison world.

I made my way into the house and to the living room, I was born in 1992, so I should have photos here.

I looked around until I saw a picture of
Stefan and I, I was two sitting on his lap.

Then I saw one with Zak and I along with his wife before she died.

"Teresa." Kai said as I turned to see him breathing hard.

"Sorry. I just used to live here." I told him as he nodded.

"It's alright... uh, wanna drink?" He asked.

"I thought you'd never ask." I said sighing in relief.
