Chapter 2



It's been three months since I was trapped in this prison world.

Kai has been fun and really flirty even though I wasn't complaining.

Since I was dead and there is no way that I know of to get back to 2013, I had to leave Jeremy behind.

"Hey." Kai walked into the living room in shorts and a jacket.

"Hey." I replied looking up from my book.

"Instead of staying here and do nothing. We are going to go shopping, C'mon." Kai said as I laughed.

"I'm not really in the mood but you can go." I shook my head.

"Just because you are dead doesn't mean you should'nt do anything." Kai said.

I rolled my eyes standing up as Kai patted my shoulders.

"There ya go c'mon." He said skipping out causing me to giggle.

Kai's POV:

I held Teresa's hand as we walked to the grocery store.

"So Kai." Teresa stated as I looked at her.

"How long have you've been here for?"

"Well since 1994." I told her.

"Wow, 19 years." She mumbled.

"Here we are." I said pulling her into the store.

Once we were inside, I went straight to the pork rinds, which being stuck here for 19 years, they didn't run out.

"Come to papa." I said opening one of the bags up.

"Kai?" Teresa asked as I turned to her.

"Hmm?" I asked with my mouth full.

My eyes widened as I saw her holding  the newspaper which I tried to hid from her causing me to swallow.

"Did you do this?" She asked as I dropped my bag of pork rinds.

"I-I..." I sighed before picking up the bag of pork rinds.

"You can leave now if you'd like. No one was to hang out with a sociopath." I said poking around the bag.

"I'm not going to leave you." Teresa said as I turned to her.

"You aren't?" I asked her.

"We're stuck here together and I'm sure you're not bad... plus you're kind of cute."

I smiled dropping the bag again going to hug her.

"Thank you." I told her as she giggled.

"I know." She said.

"Now, where's the ice cream?" Teresa asked pushing the buggy around.

Teresa POV:

I was walking around the Lockwood Mansion bored out of my life.

I stopped at the old photo case that was in the attic.

I saw a picture of Dad and Stefan with Katherine in the middle of them.

"Who are they?" Kai asked standing beside me.

"My family." I said.

"Damon's my father and Stefan's my uncle, then my best friend before she died." I said.

"How old are you?" Kai asked.

"I'm 20, I was born in 1992. I grow like a human, until I die than I grow slowly." I said.

"How old are you?" I asked him turning around.

"22 and I like to say CobraKai1972." Kai said as I gave him a look.

"From the Karate Kid."

"How did you know?" Kai asked as I blushed.

"It was my Moms favourite movies." I said sitting down.

"Whatever happened to her?" He asked sitting beside me.

"Dad said she died in childbirth, but I think she just left, she was actually a witch." I told him.

"I'm sorry about that... Wait, which witch family was she from?" He asked.

"The Originals." I replied.

He nodded as an idea came to mind, I let out a giggle before running out.

"I love tag!" Kai yelled after me.

I stopped at the bottom of the stairs as Kai was on the top.

"If you can catch me you can get a kiss." I flirted.

"You're on Salvatore." Kai flirted back as I smiled.

I took off running out of the house, and then jumped onto the roof.

I waited for a minute, looking down waiting for Kai to come out but he didn't.

"Got you." Kai's voice whispered in my eyes.

His arms wrapped around my waist.

I turned around, to see Kai's eyes trailing to my lips than back at my eyes.

I smiled before leaning in so I can pressing my lips onto his.

Kai smiled into the kiss pulling me closer to him, causing me to cup his cheeks.

We pulled away after a minute, huge smiles were set onto our lips.

"I know you've been dealing with your death and all that. Including not being able to go back home. But I was wondering if you maybe be my girlfriend?" Kai asked.

I looked at him.

I didn't see a sociopath or an insane killer, I just saw this sweet guy who has been alone for 19 years.

"Well since we are the only two people left here and you are really cute. I would love to be your girlfriend." I told Kai.

He smiled again before pressing his lips back onto mine.
