During the second world war, the Egyptians once more took the side of the allies, this granted them the Italian holdings of the horn of Africa, after which, they took Ethiopia and created a Vassal/puppet state called 'The Golden Horn of Africa' these are the present borders of the Empire

The Empire has gone back to worshiping the Old Gods, although the religion was brought back changed, greatly, mainly, sacrifices were struck off the list, other much primitive activities were also strucken out, the empire keeping to it's core values of the religion. This lead to a conflict in the mid 60's as it's neighboring Arab states, namely Algeria, Saudi Arabia and Jordan, the states attacking from all sides, although this did not catch the egyptians off guard, they had been waiting for an event like this since 1901.
The Empire holds impressive first world infraestructure, walkable cities, trams, metros, train-lines going across all over the country (including high speed rail) and 6 international airports, one for each conquered state. The Suez was expanded in certain places and emergency stations were created, to help lodged/damaged ships.
The glitz and glamour doesn't stop there, the cities are way better designed as well and it's medical system are something to behold, it's education system is on par with the likes of Ireland and other european countries, tourism is greatly regulated as to deterr or arrest hustlers/scammers, it's choises of Welfare have lead to a large population of 328 Million people.
