Night time inside the S rank Gate, in a devastated area two individuals can be seen in the middle of its crater.
(Scarlet)
"Haa... haa... haa... I have finally managed to make you fall to your knees... Hahaha... Now, remember our promise!"
Scarlet said while leaning on her sword all battered up. She was facing Maria whose current state aren't any better than hers.
(Maria)
"Haha... After all this time you still remember that promise?"
(Scarlet)
"Of course, did you think id want to train and fight all the time for this war without another motivation?"
(Maria)
"But I thought you are doing it for the empire?"
(Scarlet)
"I'm indeed doing it for the Empire but if it's just that the id rather just let them deal with the small stuff while id deal with the big stuff!"
Hearing this Maria let out chuckle.
(Maria)
"Hahaha, that indeed sounds like you, and about our promise..."
(Scarlet)
"Ahm... Ahh..."
She then slaps her cheeks causing Maria to look at her.
(Scarlet)
"As our promise include I Scarlet Ravenfall shall be the one up top in our activities!..."
After saying those words both turned red and are now trying to not look at each other. After a while, Maria finally broke the ice and spoke.
(Maria)
"You Idiot why did you have to scream it!"
(Scarlet)
"I am making sure that my word is heard by the world!"
(Maria)
"Haaa what am I going to do with you?"
She said sitting down on the ground as Scarlet walked to her.
(Scarlet)
"Well, I can take you on here now if you want?"
After speaking these words she was immediately punched by Maria.
(Maria)
"You idiot I said do not mention that here!"
While Maria and Scarlet were talking the beings above watching them finally moved.
(Above in the sky)
(Shio)
"Oh my, they are so cute! Ok, Zesshi no personality altering ok? Wait why am I even saying that I'm the one who does it!"
(Zesshi)
"Let's just go down and get this over with hmmp."
(Shio)
"Are you still mad that I didn't let you fight even one of them at their peak?"
But Zesshi just remained silent and pouted.
