This release was the group's first comeback without Yue. Although fans were sad to see her go, many expressed their congratulations for the creative team (which included input from the members themselves) and their usage of Yue's absence to fit the lore of the Freudian chapters. Regarding the storyline: it is revealed that Yue's character acts as a villain and has corrupted the dream like universe resulting in it becoming nightmarish. The girls try to navigate through this nightmare land, making new discoveries through their searching.
