The lush green view a sight to behold
I let it pass as I tightened my hold
On the rails of the train
As my mind wandered to silent cries that fell with no restrain
The night before as it happened
My own thoughts had me confused and grappled.

Trudging, the sun shone brightly on my face
The warmth, only if a little, did resurface
The smile though not reaching my eyes
Somehow the ebbs of the day weren't as cold as ice.

When the chaos settled, after a while;
Made me wonder, if it was even worthwhile
To think and overthink, as I made it seem like an excuse,
That flared the dilemma instead of defuse.

Not every trouble is as big a pain
The cloudy sky could be for a necessary rain
Letting the greens to grow and thrive,
It turned out to be just another day, just a part of being alive.
