When I woke up no one was in bed. I rubbed the sleep out my eyes ne checked the time. What the fuck! It's 11a.m. I hopped out of bed and headed into the bathroom.I took a quick 35 minute shower. I got out then dried off. I brushed my teeth and washed my face. When I was done I headed into the room. I got dressed in a black t-shirt, black basketball pants, and some socks. I tied my hair back and headed downstairs. When I got downstairs the kids were looking at their Halloween costumes. I forgot today was Halloween.

"Hey."I said.

"Hey." Everybody said.

"Where Mal?" I asked.

"Outside in her shack." Ben said.

"Ok."I nodded.

I was about to walk out but Ermias and Elias ran up to me showing me their costumes.

"Daddy look!" They cheered.

"I see." I smiled. "Did mommy get you guys that?" I asked.

"Yes!" They smiled.

"Why you ain't in school buddy?" I looked at Elias.

"I don't know." He out his shoulders up.

That made me laugh a bit. "Ok buddy." I smiled at him.

I kissed their foreheads then walked out back. When I got out there I headed into her shack. I had built her a shack cause I knew how she loved to read. But the house was always loud so here it is. Mal was sitting down drinking tea. I sat down next to her.

"Hey." I told her.

"Hi." She looked at me.

"You ok?" I asked her as I moved her hair out ha face.

"Mhm." She slightly smiled at me.

"Can I have a kiss?" I asked.

She chuckled a bit and gave me a kiss.

"I love you." I smiled at her.

"I love you more." She told me.

I smiled at her. "Why ain't Elias in school?" I asked.

When I asked that her eyes watered.

"I didn't want him to go to school today." She said.

"That's ok it's ok."I told her as I kissed her cheek. "Look at me." I told her.

She sniffed and looked at me. I rested my hands on her cheeks.

"He's ok." I looked her in the eyes.

"I know." She sniffed.

"Baby he's happy now. Nothing bad will ever happen to him again. I promise."I said.

"I know."she sniffed.

I wiped her tears and kissed her lips repeatedly. After a while she laughed a bit.

"Babe stoooop."she whined.

"You gone cheer up for me?" I asked her.

"Yes baby." She said.

"Ok."I smiled at her.

"Did you eat?" She asked.

"Nah not yet." I said.

"Your breakfast is in the microwave." She said.

"I wanted to have you for breakfast." I told her which made her laugh.

"I can arrange that." She smiled.

"Oh really?" I asked.

"Yes." She smiled.
