Sometimes I wish my palette was as vibrant as yours.

You paint in colour, whilst I paint in monochrome.

Maybe then, I'd be accepted,
Maybe then, I'd be loved.

But because I am different, you discard me and treat me unfairly.

Whilst you have access to the rainbow and a key to happiness, that doesn't mean it is available to all.

I make do with my dark shades as they are my only resource.

Colour comes from a jovial heart, the dark comes from a tormented soul.

Maybe one day my palette will end up like yours, but for now, I paint in black and white.
