in a crowd full of strangers
your eyes found mine
and it was the moment we knew
we were meant to align
but for now,
we hold our gazes from afar
because i don't want to fall in love
and you dont want to find out what we are
we'll to continue to watch each other
whenever we're in the same room
we'll to continue to share secret smiles
and make our hearts bloom
i'll steal glances at you,
you'll subtly brush your shoulder against mine.
i'll find reasons to be closer to you,
and you'll try to make our hands entwine
can we stay like this
for today and tomorrow and ever
can we stay like this
and pretend it's for forever?
