The day has been a success. Everyone has met new people. Possible friendships and rivalries have begun to emerge. After unpacking their things and roasting marshmallows around the campfire until it got dark, everyone has been sent off for the night.
The camp is shrouded in darkness and temperatures have dropped. All the lights in the cabins have turned off, the only light remaining in the camp coming from several lanterns scattered around, as well as the counselor building. They must still be awake.
The campers, however, should be asleep. Of course, if that were really the case, this chapter wouldn't exist, would it?
