Two days passed and the cold was getting worse. The snow getting higher each day, as the village stores where closed for the majority of the day which was harder to get necessities in the secluded village..
Simple mushrooms where a haul to find if none at all, the bamboo forest was almost impossible to trail or walk through by the amount of snow that covered the ground which made the days for Izuku and Katsuki all the more worse, even when hunting.

"Okay, I'm heading out now.." Katsuki said as he slipped on his thick wool coat and buttoned it.
"Here! Take this." Izuku said handing him some money. Katsuki smiled warmly and kissed Izuku on the forehead before speaking "Thanks" he then said opening the door as light snow fell from the dark blue sky and the sun was mostly shaded. He walked out and closed the door behind him leaving Izuku alone in the house again while Katsuki goes to the village to get food and such.

Izuku gripped the collar of his coat as he looked down, his ears lowered as he sighed and looked back up.
"Stay safe.."

_______

Izuku sat on the cold couch as he wrote in his leather diary, bored and worried. 'The once lively house felt as dull as a light and as cold as ice..as of working was the price to pay, just to live a simple life.' Izuku wrote in his diary with a chipped wooden pencil.
'The winter dusk and the summer husk wasn't what I intended to live by, but as of recent events I feel myself slipping away like Cor aged musk deers in the snow that blows through the trees of willowing fees.' Izuku huffed and flicked his tail as his ears laid back.

'Why must it be such a pain for one to come conquer but one to play conker with two people in a boat off the of Sea of Japan to Eli Pomper!'
After he wrote that he slammed the book shut, closing it and placed it on the coffee table with a huff.
Izuku looked to the cabinet and fridge and looked through it taking note of anything they would need that would last for awhile.
"Milk..juice..veggies..meat.." Izuku trailed off as he made a mental note of everything.

Izuku gritted his teeth and looked towards the front door and the looked back at the almost empty fridge.
"Stupid!" He cursed before running to his dairy and tearing out a piece of paper, grabbing his pencil he quickly scribbled down words and ran too the table and placed it on there. He then went to the front door and slipped on his boots and fixed up his pants a but, as his slightly oversized shirt complemented it. He grabbed his thick coat from the coat rack and slid his arms in before grabbing a flat cap hat and fixing up his dark green tail.

He then smiled and tugged on his dark brown Coat and looked towards the front door before exiting it and feeling the frost of the snow on his hands. He shivered a bit as he looked to the faint cobble stone trail to the village and pressed his lips together. "For Kachan!" He loudly whispered before sprinting off to the forest.

Just a day before, Izuku had heard from the villagers of rumors of a Ship docking by the kanato river, that led out to sea.
People speculated that they where traveling to this part of Japan after coming from the north where it was warmer. People also speculated that they where getting people to head to the north after hearing there struggles in the south.

It was a carrier ship.

A ship that would take the people of the south to the north to live a promising life, and Izuku have heard of this ship multiple times in his life.
This was one of the ships him and his mother had escaped on too the south from the west of Japan where half-anamilias started showing and people began to fear and it made it illegal for anamilias to live there.

That's where it all started.

*HUFF HUFF HUFF*

Izuku sprinted through the forest as fast as he could, as coat flying behind him as the snow dragged him to the edge of the forest slowing him down form any progression. 'FASTER!' Izuku thought as he ran faster. Faster. FASTER. FASTER!
His fingers were numb from the cold as he gritted his teeth and held onto his hat his boots crushing the snow under him as he sprinted through the snowy forest.
Izuku was used to the cold, he had lived in the cold for all his life, the cold was his worst enemy tho.
The winter had killed his mother.
The winter has killed many of its animals in a fit of survival.
