THE NEXT MORNING at school, Sydney stood at her locker and was brushing her hair in the small mirror that hung on the inside of the door. She twirled the ends with her fingers to define the curls and hummed in delight, flicking the hair off her shoulder.
Miguel turned a corner and found her, quickly making his way over to her. "Hey babe,"
She smiled instantly. "Hi love,"
He kissed her cheek and took out his phone. "You're never gonna believe this,"
Her smile dropped and she groaned. "Please don't tell me you dropped your phone in the toilet again,"
He furrowed his brows. "What? No! That was one time,"
"It was last week." She corrected.
Miguel waved her off. "Anyways, look at this. Sensei went on a Twitter rampage last night,"
Sydney leaned closer to him and looked at his phone screen. Miguel was right. Johnny's Twitter was full of angry and threatening tweets that he posted about Mr. Larusso. Her eyes widened in shock. "Wow, he knows how to use Twitter?"
Miguel rolled his eyes. He looked over her head and saw Demetri, Eli, and Sam making their way down the hallway. "Yo, you guys won't believe this," he started and he and Sydney walked up to them. "Sensei got drunk and went on a Twitter rant,"
He gave his phone to Demetri. "I believe everything except for the part where he knows how to tweet,"
Sydney's pointed at herself. "That's what I said!"
Miguel shook his head. "It looks like he and Sensei Larusso are gonna have a rematch,"
"Wait, so, they're really gonna fight?" Eli asked in surprise.
"Apparently. Should've seen this coming," Sam sighed.
"Who does he even think he's tweeting to?" Demetri questioned. "You and Sydney are his only followers?"
Sydney gasped and took out her phone. "Really? He follows me?"
Miguel gave her a weird look. "I don't know. H-He seems serious about it,"
"So this is real? Sensei and Sensei are gonna throw down?" Eli asked with a small laugh.
They all nodded.
"That's awesome!"
"Not for us. We'll be the ones having to call the ambulance." Sydney pointed out.
They grimaced at the thought.
