She stood still and was eagerly waiting for his answer. His face was blank, no emotion was there in his eyes. After a minute or two, he started speaking....
AS- Dekhiye Seema ji, hum aapke prastaav ka bohot samman karte hai, lekin hum aapko dhoke mein nahi rakh sakte.
S- Kaisa dhoka. (She asked questioning)
AS- Hum shayad kisi aur ko pasand karne lag gaye hai.
S- Lekin tum sure kaha ho, aur kya pata voh ladki tumhe ha hi kahe.
AS- Voh toh hai, lekin Seema ji, hume mile do se teen din hi hue hai, aapko itni jaldi hum pasand bhi aa gaye?
S- Tum ho hi itne. Kya karu mein (She said flirting)
AS- Chaliye thik hai, maan lete hai, lekin hum aapko pehle ho bata de ki humari aarthik vyavastha filhaal bohot kharab hai. Abhi humare paas khud ka ghar bhi nahi hai, aur hum kiraye ke makaan pe rehte hai. Aur hum abhi itna hi kama patr hai ki apna mahina guzaar le aur kuch thoda bohot bach jaye. Isliye hum aapke mehenge shauk pure nahi kar payenge.
S- What the f*** Anubhav. Tumhari aukaat hi kya hai, himmat bhi kaise hui mujh jaisi ladki se baat bhi karne ki. (And she left)
AS smiled softly
HM was in awe and shock to see the change in the nature of the girl in just a fraction of second. She saw Anubhav, just sitting on the bench gazing the grass silently. He was quite but his eyes expressed many emotions at same time.
She quietly went and sat near him and kept her hand on his shoulder. He lifted his eyelids and smiled softly seeing her.
AS- Aree Haseena ji aap yaha
HM- Bas aise hi yaha coffee pine aaye thee. Vaise aap yaha?
AS- Voh bas aise hi...
HM- Anubhav humne aapki aur us ladki ki baat sun li thi.
AS- ah voh...
HM- Shhh hum samajte hai Anubhav aapke man mein kya chal raha hai.
AS- Hume bura nahi laga Haseena ji, humne yeh pehle se expect kiya tha. (He said with a sad smile)
HM- Anubhav har koi ek sa nahi hota, sab ki alag alag soch hoti hai. Har kisi ko paisa nahi chahiye hota, kuch log pyaar ke bhukhe bhi hote hai.
AS- Lekin hum pyaar ke layak bhi toh nahi hai na Haseena ji. (He said in flow)
He bit his tongue realising that he just shared something, which he kept in dark past. He was just so comfortable with her, that he spoke his heart out.
HM- Kya baat hai Anubhav, ek baar bata kar toh dekhiye. Maante hai hum dono itne acche dost nahi hai, lekin apne man ki baat keh kar toh dekhiye.
AS- Aap toh jaanti hai humare maa baba humare bachpan mein hi guzar gaye thee, tab se hum apne chacha chachi ke saath rehte thee. Humari property bhi unhone pehle hi hadap li, hume nahi pata tha ki voh aise honge, humne bohot koshish ki unhe apna maanne ki, lekin voh kabhi hume apna nahi maan paye.
Chachi ko toh hum humesha se hi bojh lagte thee, hume koi pyaar nahi karta tha Haseena, hum akele ghar pe rehte thee jab bhi sab ghumne jate. Hum bohot akele ho gaye thee. Pata hai Haseena ji hume na police officer banna tha, lekin unhone kabhi paise hi nahi diye ki hum kuch kar sake, voh nahi chahte thee ku police mein bharti ho, dar tha unhe ki kahi hum unhi par karawahi na kar de. Fir hume ek naukari mil gayi, aur hum is naukari mein hi lag gaye.
HM- Toh aap achanak unhe chod kar kyu aa gaye. Matlab yeh decision aap peehle bhi toh le sakte thee na. (She tried to behave normal but her eyes were too teary)
AS- Hum ek ladki ko pasand karte thee, uska kehna tha, voh bhi hume pyaar karti hai, lekin kuch dino baad hume pata chala, ki voh humare chote bhai se shaadi karne ko raazi ho gayi hai, hume bohot bada jhatka laga tha. Humne usse pucha toh usne kaha ki Raghav ( his brother) ke paas zyada paise hai, uske paas badi car bhi hai, aur voh usse aish ki zindagi de sakta hai, par humare paas sirf ek bike hai, aur humare paas toh khud ka ghar bhi nahi hai.
Ek had tak uski baate sahi bhi thi, humne aisa kuch bhi nahi hai, jise dekh kar koi hume pyaar kar sake. Isliye humne voh ghar chod diya, taki Raghav aur Priya ki shaadi mein humari vajah se koi dikkat na ho. (He said with a sad smile)
HM- (In mind) Log sahi kehte hai, aksar muskuraate hue chero ke peeche bohot dard chupa hota hai. Ek baat kahe Anubhav, ek kharaab chapter ka matlab yeh nahi hota hai saare kharaab honge. Sab log ek jaise nahi hote.
AS- (Changing the topic) Kya Haseena ji hum toh apni kahani leke baith gaye aur aap bhi sunti reh gayi. Chaliye kaafi der ho gayi hai, aur nahi pakayenge (He said last line while chuckling)
HM- Aur aapko aisa kyu lagta hai ki aapki baaton se hum bore hue honge? (She asked folding her hands in front of her chest)
AS- aa.. humara kehne ka arth tha ki...
HM- Chup rahiye aap. Yeh jo aapne apne man mein baat daba kar rakhi thi isse bayan karna bohot zaruri tha. Aur hum koi bore nahi hue. Aapki baat toh hum puri umar sun sakte hai.
He gazed in her eyes, and found a pure soul, he could feel his heart racing. He realised his feelings for her at that very moment. He wanted to embrace her in her arms forever and made her feel his love for her, but feared to express his feelings.
HM- Chaliye ghar chalte hai. (She said breaking their evergreen eyelock)
AS- Ji... Ji chaliye.
And they went to house keeping their feelings inside their hearts.
At home....
And both retired keeping their feelings in their heart. Anubhav feared of loosing friendship with her, and Haseena wanted to confess today, but she thought to wait for sometime, due to the things Anubhav shared with her today. If she would confess today, Anubhav will think she proposed him due to pity. And she didn't wanted that.
