Mario + Rabbids: The Multiversal Sparks

Chapter 2

There are going to be time skips due to lack of ideas, don't worry I will keep the most important parts of the story.

20 minutes after landing on Beacon Beach you've met Augie, who would meant to be the protector of the island, encountered a Bob-omb which turns out to also be under Cursa's control and have met one of the Rabbids that live in the village on Beacon Beach, this Rabbid had a Spark with them.

In fact, the Rabbid met up with you guys to thank you for getting rid of the Bob-omb, as they were worried it would 'ka-boom the poor creature' they've found. Beaming with excitement and gratitude, the rabbid explained that normally you can get in the lighthouse through its main door, but because of the darkmess tentacle the sun is blocked by the dark grey rain clouds, but lucky for your group, this critter that the rabbid had found can make its own light.

But as soon as the rabbid opened the bag, the Spark flew out of the bag so fast that it surprised all of you, you could tell that the poor thing was scared and confused, the thunderstorm only made it worse for the Spark's fear, until it quickly noticed a statue with the sun on top standing in the water, the Spark flew fast over to it.

"Where is it going?" The rabbid asked confusedly while you all watched the Spark hover over to the statue, then made light appeared from inside the sun shaped thing by entering inside of it.

"Guess that's answers your question then?" Chris then asked the rabbid after the statue rose up and revealed that it was an entrance that led to somewhere under ground.

"Kinda, but it was meant to go to the door of the lighthouse." The rabbid replied with a bit of disappointment in their voice.

"Well thank you at least, but we must get going and follow that Spark now." Peach explained to the Raddid.

"Yeah, thank you." You added while everyone else got moving.

"No worries guys, if you need anything else just come and ask me!" He called out as you all moved further and further away from them, they kinda felt as though you guys didn't actually hear them, it could be true though.

It's pretty cool how an entire entrance could hide under water like that, even Augie was impressed that it was a Spark that activated the entrance in the first place, Mario was the first to step up the steps to the gate, as he opened to gate it squeaked, considering its probable been under water for so long that coral and some rust had started to grow on the gate.

"Why does any stairway always have to start of dark?" Luigi said worriedly, Chris gave a comforting pat on Luigi's back as a way of telling him that everything should be fine.

So without another word, one by one you all walked down the steps that led to... well somewhere underground. But what none of you notice was that someone was following you, in fact only Augie knew this but was shushed by the stranger before she went down the same steps you guys took.

Some time went by and yet somehow finding the Spark was almost a breeze, as it looked around in front of a waterfall your group watched for a second before Mario took a step forward toward the Spark, at first it was really scared, you understood this considering it was trapped in that rabbid's bag first, poor thing. Mario was cautious in making sure not to make the Spark fly away in fear.

"It's ok, we won't hurt you, in fact we want to help you." Mario reassured the Spark with a kind and caring smile on his face, the Spark seemed to change emotion to a happy one from hearing Mario's caring voice. But just as it just started to move towards him, a darkmess tentacle grabbed the Spark from beyond the waterfall and pulled the helpless creature inside.
