Chapter 18: Planning

{Carrie's POV}
Today Caroline is coming over to help plan my wedding, after what happened with Ran we needed to get our minds on something else. Blake hasn't visited us in over two weeks, I don't think he's left the hospital. Anyway Caroline finally walked through the door carrying bridal magazines.

Carrie: "Oh god Caroline, got enough magazines?"

Caroline: "Ha, ha, now get over here and help me."

I walked over grabbed half the magazines and set them in the coffee table.

Caroline: "So what's the theme going to be?"

Carrie: "Country."

Caroline: "Of course."

Before we knew it Brad stormed through the door and ran into the kitchen. Caroline and I ran after him wondering what was going on with him. when we got into the kitchen Brad grabbed a gun and started heading out the door, well until we stopped him.

Carrie: "Where the hell are you going?"

Brad: "Blake went missing and he called Luke asking for help so I'm gonna find this son of a bitch that took him."

Caroline: "Oh my god."

Caroline ran out the door and into her truck.

Carrie: "Wait Brad you're not going alone, I'm coming with you."

Brad: "No your not, it could be way to dangerous."

Carrie: "To bad."

I walked to the truck and Brad followed me, we drove to the hospital and tried lucking for clues, I felt like a detective. I walked over near the bushes and found his cell.

Carrie: "EVERYONE OVER HERE I FOUNF BLAKES PHONE!"

Luke unlocked his phone and looked through his pictures and found a picture of him near the bushes and guess who was behind him?

Everyone: "Kaynette?!

Luke: "Let's go Brad."

Carrie: "Where do you think you two are going?"

Brad: "To Kaynette's house and kick her ass."

Carrie: "No you guys can't do that it's not right for a man to hurt a woman, Caroline and I will do it. Luke give me your bat.

Brad: "No what if she has a gun."

Caroline: "I'll have one once you give me yours."

Caroline took his gun and we drove off together, Luke and Brad followed us. When we got to her house we heard screaming coming out of the garage. Walk in and see her hitting Blake with a belt, his entire back was all red.

Kaynette: "What the he'll are you guys doing here?"

Carrie: "We're here to take our friend back."

Kaynette: "Over my dead body."

Caroline: "Great idea!"

Kaynette ran straight toward us and punched Caroline she was out cold. she started heading towards me, I pushed her off and kept hitting her over and over again, she kept returning the punches till I fell. Brad and Luke finally got there and started tackling Kaynette. Brad crawled his way over to me and put his hand over mine.

Brad: "Care are you ok?"

Carrie: "Fine what about Blake and Caroline."

I turned my head and say Caroline standing there next to Blake, who wasn't moving.

Luke: "He still has a pulse, he's gonna be fine."

After we called 911 and got checked out we started heading home. Brad and I sat on the couch and cuddled while watching Grey's Anatomy.

Brad: "So, um."

Carrie: "What?"

Brad: "About the baby."

Carrie: "What about it."

Brad: "When we get married do you want kids?"

Carrie: "Yes, of course I do."

Brad: "Then why did you say that the news was good news even though you knew that the baby wouldn't survive?"

Carrie: "This way we know that we can have kids and that the next time we get pregnant we'll be ready to be parents."

Brad: "Yeah, ok."

Brad gave me a kiss and we finally fell asleep.
