I wake up from my sleep to feel a cold hard slap across my face. "OW WHAT THE FUCK-" I yelled before getting cut off by Emma "MEL WE HAVE TO LEAVE NOW WHERE LATE FOR SCHOOL HURRY TUR FUCK UP" Emma yelled back in my face "FINE ALRIGHT"
I got out of bed and went into Emma's bathroom to quickly brush my teeth and fix up my hair then I ran back into the bedroom while Emma had gone downstairs to collect her stuff and I got my bag that I brought to Emma's yesterday and put on my clothes and shoes.
"MEL HURRY I'M WAITING OUTSIDE FOR YOU" I ran outside the door to Emma who had already starting speed walking to school and I ran up behind to catch up to her
Finally me and Emma made it to school and it was first period just in time thank god
I went into my art class that I usually have with Sam and sat down at my table with an empty seat next to me which is weird because Sam is here before I am every time but I don't think anything of it. Eventually 10 min go by and Sam still isn't here so I pull out my phone and msg him to see what's happening and why he isn't in class but I don't notice Miss Carver waking towards me.

Hey where are you class started? Read at 10:12

"Melia you know you aren't allowed your phone during class time hand it over!" Miss Carver snatches my phone out of my hand walks back over to her desk and places in her drawer.
That bitch..
After class finishes I get my phone back from Miss Carver and look through my texts to see what Sam was gonna msg me.
Sam
Hey where are you class started?
10:13 I'm in the office with Jaden He beat up Michael come down I think you need to talk to him
Oh shit
I run down to the office to see if Jaden is still there and to my luck he was
"Hey Jade" I say walking into the waiting room sitting on the couch next to him
"Hm" he looks at me
"What happened?"
"Nothing everything is perfectly fine"
I raise my eyebrows at him in a come on tell me I know your lying way He sighs but tells me anyway
"I beat up Michael"
"I know, why?"
Jaden sighs again before continuing
"Because I found out that he was the guy who kissed Ava when we where together."
"Oh" I was shocked honestly I never thought Michael would do that o wasn't really close with the guy but he seemed like a decent person... that's just sad
"We'll.. who cares really I don't get it who cares about Ava your over her" I mutter try I slump back in couch.. I hope he's over her...
Jaden chuckles a little but not in a funny way more in a sad way if that's even possible and turns his head to the side and turns it back to me "No Melia I'm not over her and I still care about her" He says looking in my eyes
And I just stare back not knowing what to say to him I honestly thought he was over her.. I didn't think about it that much I wasn't friends with Jaden when he was with Ava it pretty much the whole school new about their relationship but it never hit me until know that I mean it sounds stupid but like it was real and Jaden can't just get over those feelings he had even after she cheated on him... and no one ever noticed.. I never noticed
"Jaden your mother is here to pick you up come on" The office lady tells Jaden
Turns to her and turns back to me to say something quickly "Also I'm suspended for the rest of the week" He gets up and runs out of school to his parents knowing I'm gonna be angry and not wanting to deal with it.
