"Ari" I heard my dad yell from the other side of the door making me try and jump up but Kentrell's grip was too tight
"Kentrell get up" I said shaking him out his sleep but he wouldn't get up so I slapped him making him jump up and let me go. He mugged me as I got up and threw him his shirt
"Ari" my dad yelled again while knocking on my door
"Get dressed nigga" I whisper yelled and he jumped up getting dressed
"Yes" I yelled back sleepily while Trell tucked his gun in his pants
"Come open this door" he yelled from the other side as Trell put his shoes on
"Coming" I yelled back pulling Kentrell to my closet and pushing him in closing the door "yes" I said as I opened the door and he looked down at me
"What you was doing in here?" He asked as he walked in
"I was sleep why?" I asked as he sat on my bed
"No reason I just came in here to get something for your sister" he said getting up and walking to my closet
"What you needa get? I'll get it for you" I said and he shook his head turning my closet door knob
"She said she wanted ya momma necklace out here" he said opening the closet door making my heart rate speed up. He looked back at me "omg I just know he seen him" I thought to myself. "Girl what's wrong with you?" My dad asked as he walked in my closet so I did too letting out a breath of relief when I saw dat Kentrell decided to hide
"It's right here, here you go" I said giving him the necklace and he grabbed it walking out but he stopped and turned back around
"You think you slick ain't you?" He asked looking around for what I don't know
"What you mean?" I asked as he was still looking around
"You might as well tell that nigga to come out cause I smell him" he said looking at me
"What are you talking about?" I asked tryna act lost but he wasn't buying it
"I'm not dumb I can tell when my kids lying to me. Tell that nigga to come out now or I'm beating both of y'all asses" he said dead ass serious
"Kentrell you can come out now" I said loud enough for him to hear and he came out from behind my clothes. I looked at my dad who was mugging me and Kentrell
"Why this nigga in my house?" He asked folding his arms over his chest looking at me waiting for an answer but I was speechless "y'all got 5 seconds to explain before I beat both y'all ass cause I know y'all wasn't fucking in my house" my dad raised his voice a little
"We wasn't doing nothing except sleeping" I told him truthfully but he looked like he ain't buy it
"So you telling me y'all was only in here sleeping nothing else" he said and we nodded "Ite and if I find out different that's both y'all asses" he said looking in my eyes letting me know he was dead ass "What are you to my daughter?" He asked Kentrell lookin at him waiting on a answer making Kentrell look at me then back at my dad
"Me and ha talkin" he said lookin at my dad
"And why this my first time seeing you?" My dad asked me then Kentrell looked at me too
"Cause I know you and you gon run him off" I said speaking truthfully
"If he can't handle a lil pressure then he can't have you" he explained
"But dats not your decision it's mine" I told him getting irritated
"Come on take a walk with me" my dad said nodding towards Kentrell then walking out my closet. Kentrell looked at me and I shrugged motioning for him to follow him and he did
"I hope he don't fuck nothing up" I mumbled to myself as I heard my door close so I walked out my closet grabbing my phone and walking out my room going to Ky room. Her door was closed so I opened it and walked in without knocking to see her looking through her jewelry drawer
"Did daddy get the necklace from you cause ion see it in here" she said sitting on her bed lookin stressed
"Yeah and he found Kentrell" I told her and her eyes went wide
"You lying" she said putting her hand over her mouth
"No I'm not, I'm dead ass and he talkin to him right now" I told her and she gasped
"Girl I feel bad for you but Ti already got caught" she said making me gasp
"When?" I asked surprised
"Earlier when he got home from work and boy was he mad but he gotta except the fact dat we growing up and there's nothing he can do to stop it" she explained and she right he gotta except the fact dat we not his little girls anymore
"For real he gon stress hisself out tryna treat us like we still his little princesses like we was when we was single digits" I explained and she agreed
"Dats what mommy be tryna explain to him but he just don't wanna let go" she said and I agreed
"Ari come here" I heard my dad yell making Ky laugh
"Ain't nun funny yet wait until he find out bout you and PY he definitely not gon approve" I said making her stop laughing
"Don't tell him pleaseee" she begged as I walked out her room and to the living room where Kentrell and my dad was
"Yes" I said as he was sitting down on the couch wit Trell on the side of him
"Me and him had a talk and we cool so now he can get out my house and he can't sleep over here at night and no locked doors when he in yo room" he told both of us and we nodded
"Dats fine wit me" I said as Trell got up and walked towards me "I got one question how did you know he was in dat closet?" I asked making him chuckle
"His cologne gave it away" he said as he got up and walked to his room
"Damn nigga we almost had it but you had to smell good" I said and hugged him making him chuckle
"Well I can't help dat I smell good Mami" he said making my heart beat fast and my hands shake. He just don't know what he do to me when he call me dat "can you sleep at my house tonight?" He asked and I looked up at him
"Yeah if I ask my momma" I told him and he nodded "come on help me pack some clothes" I told him pulling away from the hug and pulling him to my room and in my closet
