Backstory \   Born in the deep blue, Kyrius was raised by his mermaid mother and human father.  Kyrius, thankfully, was a born a shifter; he's able to switch between his human form and merman form as he pleases and doesn't get triggered by water. Of course, his body yearns to shift when he's in the shower or bath, but he's usually able to contain himself.

He grew up in a house right on the ocean where him and his mother would go for swimming lessons daily, which taught him both how to swim and how to control his shifts. His father would sit at the edge of the dock and smile as he watched Kyrius grow up into a very capable merman, and was there with him everyday beside his wife. After Kyrius graduated high school, he enrolled in college to become a chef. Cooking is one of Kyrius's favorite hobbies, and he loves being able to bring food to his parents from time to time.

He moved out of his parents house 2 years into college and landed a job as a Waiter at a high end restaurant, his scholarship coming in handy to help pay for his dormitory on campus. He ideally wanted to be a chef at the restaurant, but they took one look at him and denied him, stating that they changed their mind and "needed a waiter instead." Although his heart was crushed, Kyrius remained at the establishment and continues to serve as one of the waiters while he remains studying in school, hoping one day that he'll finish his diploma and rub it in his boss's face.
