Blake was awoken to shouting in the corridor
he had dozed off on the chair beside the blonde
who still hadn't woken up meredith would shine a light in her eyes every morning to check her brain activity which seemed to be okay so all signs pointed to her waking up but the doctors are unsure when
"where is she" rafe shouted
"sir it isn't visiting hours you will have to come back" Meredith said
"it's okay meredith he is her brother" Blake said seeing a distraught rafe searching for Olivia
"he needs to calm down" meredith shook her head
"he will you have my word meredith" Blake said
"what room is she in" rafe asked
"First room on the right" Blake said following rafe who had ran as soon as he knew where the girls room was
"what happened blake" rafe asked sitting beside her
"she went through a windshield" blake said sadly sitting on the chair he was previously sitting on
"was she drinking" rafe asked
"no she was the passenger" blake said shaking his head
"who the fuck was driving are they in worse condition it wasn't josh was it" rafe said angrily but his face turned sad with the worry that it was josh
"carter" Blake said trying to remain calm
"I'm going to fucking murder him" rafe said angrily his jaw clenched
"yeah I feel the same" Blake said
"I appreciated the call" rafe smiled
"she would want you here" Blake said
"I know you hate me though" rafe said
"I don't hate you I don't think your a bad person rafe but seeing her lying in the hospital bed after being stabbed by your dealer just made me so angry I'm not as forgiving as Olivia so it will take me time" blake said
"I completely understand that" rafe nodded
"how was the army with you leaving" Blake asked trying his best to
"my dad spoke to them I wasn't in the room but knowing ward he threatened or paid them off" rafe sighed
"do you think if I didn't leave this would of been prevented" rafe asked
"I don't think either of us could answer that rafe" Blake said
"I never should have left her" rafe sighed
"you can't beat yourself up over this" Blake smiled
"thank you Blake um where is kris" rafe asked looking around
"sleeping in a hotel room my friends got for me" Blake said
"why aren't you in the hotel room if they got it for you" rafe asked
